A hope for peace and harmony

Each morning, the beauty of the sky awaits us

Unasked, the flowers turn their faces up

With all their shy beauty

Flamboyance

And delicacy

Each year they awaken, to delight

Peeping out of their flowerpots

Or maybe we’ve brought some inside, to enjoy

Before the sun sets

With, maybe, just a hint of rain

Before the colour drains from our world
It is so simple, isn’t it? So beautiful.
My wish for you at Easter is peace and love, with not too many raindrops. (and certainly no more snow for my Stateside friends!)
I almost forgot to link to Cate at Show My Face. Even on Easter Saturday you can still share your six words. Happy Easter!

Thanks Jo and you must enjoy your Easter. I don’t believe in the Easter bunny. Those chocolates are not good for me and luckily I don’t like choccies much. 😆

A lovely celebration of a day, Easter or not. I love the raindrops: you’ve captured them amazingly. And also the interweaving of words and photos. Have you experienced a Polish Easter? My daughter was expecting liver-damage!
My peace and harmony was a day of world-class music in an outdoor amphitheatre among the gum trees, and brief encounters with many friends.
May we all have daily instalments of such delights, and the senses (and sense!) to notice them.

I love the sound of your day, Meg 🙂 The first year that we went to Poland I was still working and could only manage a few days. I came home the day before the Easter celebrations began. My liver is gearing up for a Polish wedding though! Krakow looked magnificent with its kwiaty and corn dollies in the Rynek. I have some Polish eggs and candles that I brought back sitting on my hearth for Easter.
Happy times and Easter blessings, Meg!

also wanted to say that the little pink butterfly was one of my favorite things – so unexpected and just fun!!! but that last photo was such a nice ending – kind of wrapped up the post with a warm goodnight goodbye….

The flowers have died, Yvette, but the pink butterfly ‘lives’ on 🙂

even cooler – 🙂
and this reminds me, a few years ago I had butterfly – it had some glitter on it – and it was from a flower arrangement. I stuck the long base in the ground near the mailbox – and it lasted it all season – amidst all the plants – and it really did “live on” –
