Six Word Saturday

This page started life as a round up of my Six word Saturdays, which go back… and back!  Cate from the blog Show my Face  had the original notion to tame her ramblings by describing her week in just 6 words. Naturally most of us don’t stop at that!  We’re far too “wordy” to quit right there, although my husband insists that’s how exactly how it ought to be. (he just likes to wind me up!)  With over 400 six word posts under her belt, Cate felt it was time to move on.  Reluctant to let the challenge disappear, she has managed to find a willing volunteer to take over.  Enter Debbie at Travel with Intent.

You can add photos, drawings if you’re gifted that way (I wish!), an explanation of your 6 words or not- that’s up to you.  I’ve found it interesting and it’s given me a peek into some blogs I never would have found otherwise.  Give it a go?  Nothing to lose and many friends to win.

I’ve given up on keeping this page up to date but I can’t quite bear to let go.  Many’s the time I’ve thought ‘no more’, but you’ll still find me on most Saturdays, airing my six words. I’m well into the 200s now, but I like to hang on to these memories:

    1. I used to update this page every week, Yvette, but then I dropped so far behind I decided I’d never catch up, so I left it as it stands. There’s so much on here, you end up goggle-eyed anyway! 🙂 So thanks for persevering 🙂 🙂

      1. well there is much to come back and still see in many of the shots – and some of the pictures i actually saw when they were originally out – but what great idea for a “page” for this – and it is nice to see how a blog evolves and ages – like a good wine I guess! 🙂
