My very own! Lemon singular, though the tree promises more.

Someone else’s lemons, and washing…

Algarve Cycle Trail
Gas canisters

Bottled gas is often used in Portugal. It was a number of years before our street went over to mains. Till then the gas bottle sat on the doorstep.

Around the roundabout

Santa Luzia, where I’ve whiled away many an hour. Also on the Algarve Cycle Trail, strewn in places with beautiful osteospernum.
Life in Colour– with Jude. Mostly yellow!

Very cheerful yellows, Jo. I love that roundabout particularly. I could spend an hour or two just driving around that.

Beautiful photos Jo but I am most struck by your lemon, and the others to follow. What a joy to be able to grow your own fruit!

You make me think of the song –
Lemon tree very pretty
And the lemon flower is sweet
But the fruit of the poor lemon
Is impossible to eat
– which I always thought was utter nonsense! Lemon gives zing to everything.
A zingy post.

I have to say, I love the zing too, Anabel! Thank you very much π π

Loved all the yellows but the Lemon itself is really great. Hope you added a slice to a g. & t. – what else should the first lemon be used for?

I knew you’d say that, and it’s sacrilegious I know, but I don’t drink gin, Mari π π

Wat did you do with your one lemon?

Well, I don’t like gin so it didn’t go into any G&Ts π π In herbal teas and with barbecued chicken, Dawn.

A lovely collection of yellows! I do like the Marilyn, and the lovely roundabout! That was interesting reading about the gas bottles!

The roundabout is in one of my favourite places. π€π We thought it was a very strange system with the gas bottles when we first came here, but everywhere is different! Not sorry to see the back of them though π€£π

Well your lemon tree is still very small.π I’m thinking getting one, hopefully the citrus nursery will be open when we can travel a bit further from home. Thank you for seeking the yellows in your neighbourhood, with all the blue and white it must be a happy place. The osteos by the way are Gazanias. Similar, but different and both called African daisies πΌπΌ
