Gathering lemons

My very own! Lemon singular, though the tree promises more.

Bottled gas is often used in Portugal. It was a number of years before our street went over to mains. Till then the gas bottle sat on the doorstep.

Santa Luzia, where I’ve whiled away many an hour. Also on the Algarve Cycle Trail, strewn in places with beautiful osteospernum.

Life in Colour– with Jude. Mostly yellow!

  1. Loved all the yellows but the Lemon itself is really great. Hope you added a slice to a g. & t. – what else should the first lemon be used for?

  2. A lovely collection of yellows! I do like the Marilyn, and the lovely roundabout! That was interesting reading about the gas bottles!

    1. The roundabout is in one of my favourite places. πŸ€—πŸ’• We thought it was a very strange system with the gas bottles when we first came here, but everywhere is different! Not sorry to see the back of them though πŸ€£πŸ’•

  3. Well your lemon tree is still very small.πŸ‹ I’m thinking getting one, hopefully the citrus nursery will be open when we can travel a bit further from home. Thank you for seeking the yellows in your neighbourhood, with all the blue and white it must be a happy place. The osteos by the way are Gazanias. Similar, but different and both called African daisies 🌼🌼
