I went looking for reflections, but…
Next week’s Thursday’s Special has the theme ‘reflections’. On a clear bright day this week I thought I’d get ahead of the game. But there was just enough wind to ripple the water and make my task that little bit harder. No matter! I enjoyed playing anyway.
I won’t be going anywhere near Hartlepool marina this weekend. It’s grey and wet! Maybe we’re saving the sunshine for next weekend’s long Easter Break. Wherever you are I hope you have a happy weekend. And don’t forget to visit Cate at Show My Face to play Six word Saturday.

You have so captured the bright spring breeziness, Jo. Never mind about the reflections 🙂

Thanks, Tish 🙂 The bright breeziness has blown the rain clouds away again today but I’m lacking the energy to blow along with them.

Hm. That happens – an energy dip that leaves you stranded. Wishing you some get up and go, although it’s good to rest too 🙂

I also have the company of my son this afternoon, who happens to want to chat to me, and that’s a rare occurence, Tish 🙂 Have a lovely weekend!

A lovely day, with or without reflections, Jo. 🙂 That “whisper of a reflection” looks like beautiful jewellery. Happy weekend to you. xx

I was fascinated at some of the patterns the camera created from the reflections, Ad. No doubt I’ll be back to play some more soon. 🙂 Done boot camp yet, or is that Fridays? 🙂

I’m sure you will. No, Boot Camp is Sunday mornings, and we’ll be there. 🙂

Your marina scenes are lovely. And I actually like the window reflection Jo. Very much 🙂 I think I should hunt down some reflections for Paula’s challenge as well.

I took some hilarious ones at zumba this morning, Madhu, but only on my phone and I haven’t looked at them yet to see if they’ll work. I wouldn’t mind but I already have some in mind. These challenges are ruling my life! 🙂 🙂

Hi Jo – enjoyed this stroll – and variety of reflections! saw a boat I loved so much – the white one with gray (6th photo in)
~ also, your post today reminded me of Henri Matisse’s “The Boat” painting – because it was hung upside down – and it actually was when someone noticed that the reflection was not correct that something was “off” – hmmm – the reflection was everything in this very simple piece he made…..

I am a “Boat” fanatic and have even owned a couple and sailed on a few more so you can imagine how much I enjoyed your photographs. I have great memories of sailing across the Mediterranean in a converted trawler during a decent gale, and the way the boat rocked and plunged through the waves. An exhilarating voyage to have survived 🙂

Sounds a little worrying to me, Peter 😦 I’m a bit feeble as a sailor but I do a great job at looking. 🙂

It’s a grim day in the Midlands today too Jo, but at least I have only 3 working days to go until I get down to Cornwall. Have a great Easter whatever you’re doing!

Boats and sun! Lovely.
We’ve been promised sun this afternoon 🙂
And then dreadful weather tomorrow – typical – I’m meant to be on a dawn walk in Richmond Park

There is some hint of sunshine now, but it’s blowing a hooligan so I’ll be on the laptop. I’ve zumba’d so that’s my excuse to be lazy 🙂
Dawn tomorrow? That’s not good timing because the clock’s go forward and you lose an hour! Don’t suppose it affects when dawn happens though. Enjoy! 🙂

Great reflecting on the nature of reflection…
Did you say sun for Easter? I can remember one Easter Sunday when we had to dig outselves out of our tent. The children loved the snowy camping trip, but I was not so keen!
