To be at peace with myself.
How quickly a week passes! After last week’s funk and all your kind wishes, I’m resolved to stop skittering about and simply enjoy what comes my way.
I love clouds! Except, of course, when I’m bumping down through them on an aircraft, but that’s a different story. I’m only two weeks away from my next visit to the Algarve, and the tingle of excitement is there already. Before that I have a couple of days in London, so peace will not come so easily. The buzz of the city will surround me.
So many times I’ve watched the sun come up through my front window and set again in the evening, behind my home. The peace and wonder of it all envelopes me, and I love it.
Wishing you all peace this weekend. I may post for Six Word Saturday next week, but I’ll be in transit so my response will be slow. In any case, the world will keep on turning. I hadn’t seen the Daily Post challenge when I posted this, but really- what could be more serene?
Please don’t forget to share your week with Cate at Show My Face, and maybe join me for a walk on Monday? I’ll look forward to it.

A fellow cloud snapper! I live high up in a loft overlooking the sea on the south coast, and right now I’m watching the clouds pass my window. I’m in easy reach of London and go there specially to capture the bustle and pace of which quiet of the coast starves me. Enjoy London, enjoy the Algarve, enjoy those clouds!

Fantastic split sky this morning, Keith, and the sun just breaking through onto hard frost. I rather envy you that loft. My front window view is rather mundane, but the Algarve rooftop, much better 🙂 Many thanks!

There really is something about clouds. Even big, black, angry storm clouds are compelling. Your clouds are fantastic!
I will never get over someone being able to just pop over to another country with a completely different language and culture for a weekend away. [shakes head]

Well, I’ll be in the Algarve for 2 weeks so you’ll have a lovely little spell of peace and quiet from me. It’s a win, win situation 🙂 But the London madness is a very quick turnaround. I may survive 🙂

Excuse me! I shall be expecting opportunities to be vicariously in Portugal. You can’t go there and leave me behind. We spent 5 days in Lisbon in 2013 and I fell in love. Portugal is very high on my bucket list.

I love the header. And of course all the other photos. May the skittering cease and calm envelop you as you head off to Algarve tranquillity. Even if there’s an encounter with London first!

I very much like the header too, Meg, though it won’t go with many of my other posts. A regular problem with headers 🙂
Yes, I think I’m about due for the Algarve’s soothing balm. I’d be fooling myself if I said that peacefulness comes naturally 🙂
