Many thanks for your kind thoughts
Whenever I’m feeling distressed I have an outlet. It’s right here, with you lovely people. It’s a huge reason why we blog, isn’t it? Our emotional safety net, which means we can express our doubts and fears, however foolish, however irrational, and know that we will not be harshly judged. You are immensely kind. My thanks to you all for giving me this space. Meanwhile, Debbie is busy circling, with Six Words. Happy weekend!
Being here makes my heart happy
I’m sure you can see why. Access to the beaches in Portugal has been restored, with a few restrictions. Happiness beckons! Enjoy your Saturday, and don’t forget to share Six Words with Debbie.
Coffee, cake, his/hers- your choice?
I’ve spent a lot of time, just lately, up on the roof terrace. Sue prompted me to share a cup of coffee and a book. Debbie followed suit, with her usual flair. And in our house, well, a little cake seldom comes amiss… Why not join the party on Six Word Saturday!
No beach walks until June 1st!
The State of Emergency in Portugal is to be lifted from Monday, 4th May, in gradual stages. I’m not happy that beaches won’t reopen until 1st June.
I’ll just have to make do! There are worse places to be, and plenty of curves and clouds to play with. 2020 Photo Challenge #17
So many varieties! Thanks, Jude! Or you can always be playful with Debbie’s wonderful Six Words. Either way, have a great weekend!
Which one makes the better square?
There’s a cycle path from Tavira to neighbouring Cabanas, and this bridge spans the narrow River Almargem along the way. It struck me as perfect, in the original, for Jude’s #2020PhotoChallenge on converging lines. But it works as squares too, don’t you think? Up and over the Top! We’ll be passing this way on my Monday walk. Meanwhile, have you got Six Words to shed a little light for Debbie?
Don’t you just love wild poppies?
#SquareTops Say it with poppies! Where’s the link here? Maybe I’ll have to go for top drawer. I’m struggling this morning, but I could get lyrical about poppies. Meanwhile, Debbie says it with bluebells. Happy Six Word Saturday!
Keeping on top of the situation
Spot the odd one out? They are all horizontals for Jude’s 2020 Photo Challenge, but one of them won’t fit #SquareTops. Hoping Debbie won’t quibble about my Six Words this morning. Have a lovely Saturday all!
Top of the morning to you!
What says it better than flowers? You have to admit, these are show-s’top’pers, Becky? All fresh from my garden, and all Square! A bouquet for your lovely Mum. And what can you say about Debbie’s Six Words today? So that’s where all the loo rolls went? Happy Saturday, everyone!
The blue seat, or the brown?
Nice view! We can share cake?
Find Six Words and come and join me! Let’s make the most of another day.
The message is ‘stay at home!’
A glorious, but empty, sight. Though, to be fair, it’s pouring again today. And there was me, getting ready to sing on the balcony! No, we haven’t reached lockdown yet, but our President is trying his best to contain the beast with State of Emergency measures. We can only respect that.
Meanwhile, Debbie is making the earth move. In Six Words. Join me for another walk on Monday and some virtual fresh air.
