So much water under the bridge
Awesome, isn’t it? Heavy rain brings the red soil tumbling down from the hills. We’re back to clear blue skies now. Have a happy weekend!

Oh my goodness! Is this how Moses made the River Nile flow with blood?

A neat trick! π Fortunately it’s tidal and Tavira is at the river mouth so it doesn’t last long. Thanks for your company, and have a great week. More blueberries! π

It’s tidal, Vincent, so the water comes and goes…but usually it’s a more normal colour. π

We had a couple of weeks where it rained most days but it seems to have settled again now. Lovely weather for afternoon strolling. π π Hope it’s not a bad storm, Yvette!

Back to normal in a matter of hours usually. High tides do sometimes flood the riverbanks π π

How long would it take after such a rain for the silt to settle out of the water Jo? It looks as though things were very stirred up!

By the time the next tide comes in it’s usually settled again, Sue. Tavira isn’t far from the river mouth π π

It’s great fun! I usually hurtle down there to try and catch it looking like that because it changes with the tide, Lexie. You ok? π π
