Green is the backdrop to our world, right now, here in the Algarve. Winter rains have refreshed and revitalised the land and filled the reservoirs. It’s a joyful sight because our summer heat can be fierce, and by September everywhere looks parched.
A boost for tourism? Colours of the Portuguese flag Some washing for Andrew A ‘nora’, or well Indecision rules? Green algae on the salinas My watering can And my all green, curly plant
It’s Monday wash day again, but I’m living Life in Colour with Jude. Have a good week!
What a pretty door you found! I’m not green with envy because over here it’s the best time of the year too, everything greening away happily. The only problem is that I know every blade of grass by heart by now. Just the time for some poppies. I expect the first in a week.

It is the thing I most look forward to each spring, the return of green. Your photos give me hope that it will be our turn soon.
