Green with envy?

My Hula girls, luxuriating in green

Green is the backdrop to our world, right now, here in the Algarve. Winter rains have refreshed and revitalised the land and filled the reservoirs. It’s a joyful sight because our summer heat can be fierce, and by September everywhere looks parched.

It’s Monday wash day again, but I’m living Life in Colour with Jude. Have a good week!

      1. Albuca spirals and from South Africa too, though not one I recall. Needs warm temperatures so should do well for you and even produce flowers that smell like butter and vanilla! Best in filtered sunlight, water in winter but not when it goes dormant. Unusual plant. 🌿

  1. Yesterday I worked in the garden, trimming old, brown hedges and did some self-provocative stone landscape, I am looking forward for green to finally visit us here. This week they predict some rains to come so I think it will be good for the grass and plants to revived into life.
    Your Green captures are envy-worthy!

  2. A lovely bright post to cheer up a damp and dismal morning Jo 🙂 I love the door and your curly plant – very unusual – but my favourite shot is the top one with the hula girls, it’s a great view 🙂
