A peaceful contemplation of the night
Subtitled : Stillness when the storm has abated It was a humdinger of a storm yesterday morning. Exceptionally high tides flooded the centre of Tavira. I hope calm has been restored. Meanwhile, Debbie has a great message for us on Six Word Saturday. Enjoy your weekend!

Storms, fires, floods, earthquakes…what’s next? A peaceful photo from Jo, that’s what! 🙂

I was astounded at how breezy it was along the coast. Much calmer here. Off to the roof with strawberries and a book 🤣💕

Looks so peaceful, though there’s an edge to the light that seems to say ‘apres storm’. Happy weekend, Jo.

It’s blowing a hooligan by the water, Tish and very high tide again, but the temperature is lovely. Thanks, darlin! You too 🥰🌊💕

Beautiful shot, Jo. You have a great camera/phone to create an image as clear when darkness has fallen. Enjoy your weekend as well!

It’s a lovely spot to just sit and watch the water, Marion. I wouldn’t mind being there now, without the effort of going. Lazy in my old age 🤣💕

It only lasted a day, Jude. The river is very low this morning and nothing looks any different. Yesterday I was blown inside out 🤗💕

Sigh… You are lucky to have such good weather, though I wouldn’t cope with the heat. I need somewhere that is around 23 degrees all year round 😊

Keep the storms if you will Jo, it is a delightful early Autumn here.
The North East is locked down.
Our Easyjet flights to Gibraltar are cancelled by the airline. Bizarre, they encourage people to book flights and then cancel them. At least we will get the money back.
Still having no joy with WP and the Block Editor. It took me three days to try and write a post and lay it out as I want it. I failed. It will definitely be my last until things change.

Can’t you still use the classic editor Andrew? It is available, but you need to use wpadmin and then the add post at the top of the page where there should be a drop down option.

As I see it, it is there but a lot of functionality has been removed and attempts to edit direct it to ‘classic blocks’. I just cant cope with it. All I want is a Word Processor type function where I can write a simple post and add some pictures. I don’t need the ‘bells and whistles’

You have to edit through the wpadmin. If you look there should be an option to use edit or classic editor on the posts. If you try and edit through any other method it will open the post in the block. I’ll put a link to a video that another blogger has done on one of your posts when I go on the computer. It might help.

Thanks for that. Just too much hassle. I need to find something else to do really!

I have wasted hours on it, I just can’t find a way back to truly Classic Editor. It keeps giving me these awful blocks.

The video I have posted on your site should help. I have only tried the blocks on one blog, and I now have the choice (!) on the blogs I haven’t tried it I still only use the original classic editor. Let me know if I can help you any further. It would be a shame to lose you from the blogging world.

Thanks. The Classic Editor works fine for the original posting, Editing seems to be a nightmare.

Meant to say. So it seems to me that you have got to get it right first time or else there are editing issues.

I’m replying on your message as I can’t seem to do so on Andrew’s. I only use Classic Editor, which I reach via ‘Dashboard’, then ‘Posts’. So far, so good ….

It was just a day long storm Andrew. Back to blue and 27 today. A little warm for t’ai chi but lovely otherwise.
I heard there were problems centred around Sunderland. Good job you’ve grown fond of your garden. I haven’t tried the Editor and don’t plan to yet. 🤗💕

There is some sort of roll out to the Block Editor. Eventually they enforce change whether we want it or not.

It was sunny again by the afternoon but blowing a hooligan, Debs. 🙂 🙂 We walked out to the coast to inspect the flood tides, forgetting that the centre sometimes floods. Saw photos later on Facebook!
