An ode to the turning tide
Lapping the shore, gently
A mantle of lace
Cloaking my shoulders in peace
My happy place, even when I’m sad. Share Six Words this Saturday? And have a great weekend!

Oooh… I just love the lacy edges of the waves. I bet you never could have guessed!?
They do fascinate, Gunta 🙂 🙂
Oooh, waves on sand as lace. I see it too. 🙂 Lovely.
Back to the beach this morning. I love it 🙂 🙂
Gorgeous, Jo. That water sparkles!
My favourite thing 🤗🌊💕
The lapping waves repetition so calming.
I love it, Ruth! 🙂 🙂 Maybe not today as the skies are really stormy.
Inside with a book and tea. Perhaps a sliver of cake?
Tempting but I over indulged yesterday, Ruth. Just building up to doing a few chores, then talk to my son. Goodies later. Then Rafa to watch this evening 🤗💕💕
Chores for me today as well. Been doing a lot of sewing, knitting and reading and avoiding the dusting etc. Go Rafa❤️
Beautiful Jo! Lace is the perfect description. 🙂 ~Terri
It was a lot rougher earlier today but it’s like a millpond now, Terri 😊🌊💕
With you 100% on this one Jo – always a moment of peace as the tide calms and reassures us. Better not to think of it during hurricane season tho 😊
It was galloping up the beach this morning, Tina 😊🌊💕
Family, babies, home, friends, homework and walk.
Busy day! 😊💕
I like these. Yesterday I walked the Humber Bridge. No sand in the Humber, just mud!
I remember! 🙂 🙂 I walked the Humber on my Beverley trip a few years ago.
I went to Beverley yesterday, surprisingly busy I found.
Beautiful golden sand, so peaceful. Restful words too
The ripples entrance me, Pauline. And tiny fish 🙂 🙂
Perfection! Wish I was there…
The beaches are so beautiful, Mel 🙂 🙂
They are that in spades!
We’ve just had a week at the beach and I had a similar thought one day as we were walking on the sand with an outgoing tide. I love how the current creates ripples in the sand. Happy Sunday to you Jo.
The patterns are fascinating, Carol. I never tire of looking 🙂 🙂
Fabulous Jo, just fabulous 😀💕
Thanks, sweetheart 🙂 🙂
