Six word Saturday

Help me to pick a word?

Canicular

Splash!

Feathered

Marine

Scenic

I think Debbie might have accused me of being too wordy this week, but I don’t mind because the lady produces incredible images, day after day.  Someone else who produces very special images is Paula.  I haven’t had time for Thursday’s Special – until today.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

    1. That’s in Silves, Cathy. I think we may have been there with you? The building is a little dilapidated now, and has a for sale sign up. 🙂 🙂 Thanks, darlin!

      1. Yes, Jo, you did take me there. I do remember it fondly. 🙂

I’ve started plotting out our Portugal trip. I know Mike wants to see Lisbon and Sintra, and I want to see Porto, but we have a few more days we can fill. Of these towns, which would you recommend in the north: Coimbra, The Beiras, Obidos? Or do you have any other recommendations?

  1. As always, beautiful shots, Jo. I think one might add “serene” to that first one. I had to look up Canicular and, apparently, it means small dog. Is that what you intended? Have a fantastic weekend yourself. Can’t beat the weather. 🙂

      1. Hotter than yesterday. Had to bring the young brassica plants indoors and wash them! Fending off heat and cabbage white butterflies which have just exploded all over the rapeseed field. Phew.

  2. I have to pick canicular because that boat looks like just Amandla and it made me so happy to think of someday being at anchor in the waters near you. My second favorite was feathers because those birds have got it all going on. Hugs from Madagascar

      1. Oh, I’m envious of your beach walk! 😀😀 Any chance you’ll take a quick dip as well … it is true Mediterranean weather this morning. Enjoy Khynren – I just read up about it and it sounds amazing – wow!! Have an epic time! Xx

      1. Golfing weather indeed but I don’t golf at weekends, I think it is only fair to leave the course free for the poor people who have to go to work. No sun this afternoon it is inside football TV weather!

  5. These gorgeous photos brightened my day. Here in southern Australia we are currently in the middle of wild storm that has blown up from Antarctica. Looking at your light hearted summer photos made me feel warmer.

    1. That’s good to know, Suzanne. 🙂 🙂 Crazy weather this year. It’s sunny still in England and I’m off to the garden soon for breakfast, but I can always rely on the Algarve for lovely images. Thank you!
