Six word Saturday

From one little angel, to another?

I’ve had this sweet little Smile in my head ever since I saw Ben’s fun Weekly Photo Challenge.  I squared her for Becky’s March challenge but somehow she never managed to slip in.  I hope you’re all smiling this weekend.  If not, go and see Debbie’s Six Words!

      1. No fully awake now. The motorcycle race hasn’t started. Some hold up because of rain just about to be on their way. The race is in Argentina

      2. Dad used to love motor bike scrambling when he was younger. Ugh! All that mud 😦 I’ve watched Grand Prix motor racing in the past, but not this season. I used to love Schumacer.

    1. Rubbish, actually, Sue, but that’s probably a bit harsh. 🙂 🙂 Zumba followed by rain. I spent the afternoon listening to a couple of Viveka’s music tapes and writing Monday’s walk. Had a bit of a boogie. 🙂 So… not bad, really! How about you?

  1. A very pretty smile – cute angel. I considered one of the grandsons for this challenge, but I don’t usually post family photos. Hope your day improved as ours did. Just watching the sky turn pink and yellow now.

      1. They were very yummy 🙂 Enjoyed the walk too, though there has been quite a lot of damage in the garden. Some landslip too 😦

      1. Maybe, Jo, although it’s spitting rain. I probably will wait till tomorrow when it’s supposed to be partly sunny, although still cold! I hear bluebells might be blooming at Riverbend Park. But because of our cold snap, I may be too early.

Do you have fun plans? We’re going to a play downtown this evening. 🙂

      2. I’ve just put the heating on and got myself a mug of soup, Cathy 😦 Just me, music and the blog this afternoon. Mick’s gone to the match and I don’t envy him. Lunch out with a friend yesterday but the weekend’s in danger of being boring 🙂 🙂 Roll on the Algarve.

      3. Mmm, what kind of soup? I love soup on a cold day! That sounds like a very cozy afternoon, Jo. I hope your weekend gets better. Is all well with you? I thought I saw a comment on someone else’s blog that made me wonder.

Guess who is back at our house for a couple of weeks? I keep hoping for miracles that never seem to happen. I guess I should stop hoping…. Cheers to staying warm and enjoying the day!

      4. Minestrone, Cathy. 🙂 🙂 I’m fine, really. Just not adjusting very well to my UK life. 🙂 It’s all a bit stop/start and I’m in limbo, but I have plans afoot. I just need to get on with them (if only this blasted weather would cheer up 🙂 )
Make your peace with him, Cathy. It’s no good to fight against it.

      5. It’s hard when things feel a little akimbo, especially as you’re getting ready to uproot. The upside is of course, you’ll be in your dream spot eventually. I wish the weather would improve myself.

I feel at peace with him at this point, and I know I can’t change him. Of course I can’t help but worry if he’ll ever become self-sustaining. This philosophy he’s adopted doesn’t lead to self-sustainability. I really don’t want to support him the rest of our lives! But of course, I love him dearly, and he has a very good heart. 🙂

      1. If you are gloomy, you can change your mood by smiling, even if you don’t feel the urge to do it. The body remembers all the times you’ve had a ‘party’! – and then the mood changes from gloom to happy. Brilliant, in fact.
But when the weather is very bad for a very long time, it nearly hurts to smile 😉 🙂 🙂

      1. Mr ET turned 60 today, so we’re out for a quiet dinner tonight and then having dinner out again tomorrow night with a group of friends with cake to follow. Yes, we’ve been watching the games too. Heading down next week to see some action first hand. 🙂
