Time to kick back and have a little fun in my life. I don’t know about you but I’m tired of all this rain. And I haven’t shared with Paula in the longest time. I really loved the elegant lady in her Black & White Sunday, After and Before. I thought I’d share my husband. Discreetly, of course.
He always complains that I only ever show his back in my photos. Perhaps he’ll like this better?
This one is very beautifully framed, Jo! We are having a rainy week in Cley again, did enjoy the sunshine here. 🙂
Thanks, darlin 🙂 🙂 One of Michael’s favourite places. He’s a great fan of putting his feet up.
Me too! 🙂 We should start a club! 🙂 Say hello to Michael from me. Hope we can get together for a drink (or tea or a walk) when you pay North Norfolk a visit the next time. Have a wonderful evening.
Thanks, darlin 🙂 🙂
I loved kicking back at the beach, Jo, and got a kick out of your husband’s portrait. 🙂 Cheers!
His best side, Jet 🙂 🙂
Oh look at that sun! What a view for your good husband. He’s looking dapper and relaxed I must say. 🙂
Pastie in one hand, tumbler of wine in the other and he’s a happy man, Sue. 🙂 🙂 Oh, yes, and sunshine…
Clever! Perfect shot for the weekend, with both views 🙂 Hope it stays dry for you lovely Jo…not too bad here, I actually got to go out in the (new) garden yesterday, first time since we moved 5 months ago…I think it’s the first day since then in late October that it hasn’t rained or snowed…seriously! Hugs… xxx
I know the feeling, Sherri. 🙂 🙂 I was in the garden myself for the first time yesterday, complete with jacket of course, but still… progress 🙂 Thanks, darlin! Wishing you a lovely Spring into Summer.
Progress is a wonderful thing! Thanks Jo…and the very same to you! 🙂 xxx
Oh yes but more to come, working part time and every time I go out it rains! Great post loved it.
April showers 🙂 🙂 Thank you!
What an impressive guy! His shoes are bigger than a boat!! 🙂
You’re not wrong 🙂 🙂
Nice one Jo, so relaxed and laid back in the sun. With a pasty in hand? I tend to like the colour version as it looks so sunny
He almost certainly had had a pasty in hand, Pauline. They don’t last him long 🙂 🙂 Finally found a bit of cool blue sky here this morning. Whoopee!
Yippee for the sun, bring it on… 🌞
What a glorious day you had that day, Jo. It looks heavenly.
We had some lovely days, Carol. He had jeans on that day so it may not have been especially warm but it’s a nice spot. (and they sell pasties at that kiosk, which is the big draw for Mick 🙂 )
I did notice the jeans. Perhaps the wind was brisk off the water.
He was probably just wearing his Portuguese head, and that means dress accordingly for Winter. 🙂
Hubby should be happy that he is in the Restless Jo Jigsaw Puzzle. Put him together piece by piece!
He was happy just to sit there, Denzil. Much lazier than me. 🙂 🙂
Love both versions of this capture! The B&W is so Casablanca. The 2nd exudes calm, promise of a lazy day.
He has more hair than Bogart, but you can’t tell that in this shot. 🙂 🙂 Glad you like them.
That’s a great shot, Jo – it exudes peace and comfort, yet leaves some mystery. 🙂 I have a hard time to pick a favorite between B&W and color, though.Lovely scenery, lovely husband shot, lovely non-rain times. Here, we are not sick of the rain, but of the wind. Without it, being outside would be close to perfect.
The wind is howling round the house like a banshee Liesbet. AND it’s raining. In England we call it Spring. Thanks a lot xx
Hahaha excellent, did he like it? I have seen him once or twice, he scrubs up all right doesn’t he? 🙂
He does. 🙂 🙂 We have a lot of fun over the issue of me taking photos and the blog. I read a few of the comments out to him. Cracked me up. Him… not so 🙂
They look arelaxed pair of feet! Hopefully, the rest of him was relaxing too. Sleet here today (again) but tomorrow is more promising.
Fabulous weather, isn’t it? I just had to revert to the Algarve. 🙂 🙂 It’s one of his favourite little spots (the kiosk sells pasties he’s rather fond of 🙂 ).
I’ll take your rain and exchange it for the never ending winter. It’s a struggle this year. Today’s temp is 15C colder than the norm (+9C), and the next two days are supposed to be 18C colder. Just make it stop! On the plus, today is sunny but there are snow flurries in the forecast for the next three. Sigh. I’m still drawn to the colour version – and like the discreet handling of the hubby LOL.
He’s always handled discreetly. He just doesn’t always appreciate it 🙂 🙂 Weather! 😦
