My gallery this morning is to say a big thank you to all of you who keep appearing in my Comments, whether it rains or shines. And also to apologise to the many others who sit patiently in my Inbox, awaiting a turn. Blame it on the Summer or Wimbledon, I’m not sure which, but I just can’t manage to keep up at the minute.  Hoping normal service will be resumed at close of play.

As I walked through the park this morning it struck me that flowers are, for me, so often a symbol of friendship, and so I’m adding this post to the Weekly Photo Challenge.  Why not?

In the meantime, have a wonderful weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday for a walk.  After you visit Cate, to share your six words.

  2. Aww so sweet – gorgeous blooms, and I loved reading all your buddies’ names. It put a huge grin on my face. Tennis, flowers, summertime – siren calls to live your moments. That’s what I’m gonna do today. Have fun!

  3. Lovely post, Jo….made me smile! I take it I’m one of the young-at-heart, but not quite rocking horse young😀😀 anyways, like you I can’t keep up at the moment. Have just spent 6 hours with a friend trying to sort out some more ‘stuff’ at my place……. I’m truly worn out now.

    1. I did think that there was a bit of contrast between you and Sue Slaught with her biking/running activities, Sue but I couldn’t think of a way to politely differentiate 🙂 Must be time to put your feet up!

    Have a great weekend. My money is on Federer tomorrow, but whatever, it should be a good game. I am beginning to think ‘our Roger’ is a Synth!!! THEN I can go and visit some gardens!

      Yes, Fed just has to after that performance! It would be a travesty if not. Mick’s birthday tomorrow and I’m not sure what the plan is. I think he may be sulking because we’re not in Tavira. 😦

      1. No restaurant booked then? We’ve got used to spending birthdays away from home, but it doesn’t always work out for mine in October. Suspect it won’t this year either. But I will expect dinner out!

  11. What a lovely post of gifts. That last photo is stunning – glorious colour and detail. A small correction. I think pansies look cranky, not bland! These certainly aren’t bland, but they’re not altogether good-humoured either!

    1. I had no idea what to do for 6WS this week, Ann, but I had the song in my head and it was a good start. Meg left me a comment about pansies (which I misremembered and she’s since corrected me) and it just went from there. Thanks again for ‘liking’ me so much 🙂
