A refugee on my bathroom windowsill!
Are you enjoying this lovely Autumn season? It passes all too quickly. Come and share in the festival of leaves this weekend. I’m sharing mine on Six Word Saturday. I know Cate won’t mind.
What will you be sharing? Whatever it is, I hope you have a joyful weekend.

Beautifully delicious red leaves, Jo. That poor little orphan looks quite forlorn. 😦 Have a great autumn weekend. 🙂

He was a tiny thing, Ad. Kept blowing off the windowsill 😦 I’ve been out kicking leaves and zumba-ing this morning. Peaceful this afternoon. Phew! 🙂

Sounds like a great way to spend your Saturday morning, Jo. I’m about to do a bit of Hula. 😀

Love the reds Jo, and the shadows. This is my second favourite season (spring being the first) but as an October baby, it is very special to me. Have a lovely weekend – hope it keeps dry!

You had a nice birthday jaunt in Dorset, didn’t you? What happened with Seattle? Another city I’d love to see! 🙂
Just floating down the river with Cathy. Her photos of the karsts have been spectacular. It was lovely here this morning but fading rapidly.

Cancelled Seattle because of Sydney – too expensive to do both although I justified upgrading to premium seats to Sydney as I wasn’t paying for flights to the USA! So it didn’t save me that much, but hopefully I’ll be more comfortable flying all that way.
Cathy’s trip was lovely, though I am more than happy to travel vicariously with her, the heat, the food, the crowds are not my thing at all.

I wish I had the cash to meet her out there. I’d love to see that backdrop for myself. 🙂

The colours are lovely. We are getting more autumnal here, but there is still plenty of green around.

We’ve a mix, Elaine, but I have the awful feeling it will all disappear overnight! Sultry here again today, though not so sunny 🙂

Got to cling on to them, Colline! I hate it when they’ve gone, but it’s still unseasonably warm here. Very strange! (but nice) 🙂

It’s not a great shot, Sherri, but the sweet little thing just called to me and I had to grab the camera. Mick thinks I’m a mad woman. What am I saying? He knows! 🙂

Beautiful Jo. The light is so wonderful in autumn too, and you have caught it perfectly here. I especially love your conker shot.

I don’t have autumn here yet, sadly, Jo. I’ll be posting pictures soon of a botanical garden I visited today and it’s still as tropical, hot and humid as ever. We had a taste of cooler weather earlier this week, but it dissipated and now it’s back to summer. I miss fall so much, so your photos made me smile. Especially the “delicious” one. 🙂

I like that ‘delicious’ one too 🙂 It’s still warm here, which is extraordinary for mid October! They had torrential rain in Portugal last week and I was sunning it over here. How crazy is that?
What will you do for your birthday, Cathy? I should have got your Chinese address then I could have sent you a card. 😦

Aw, you’re sweet, Jo. Don’t worry about a card. Just plan on meeting me some time in the future! You’re sweet just to remember my birthday at all! I’m terrible about that kind of thing. My plan next weekend is to visit Detian Waterfall on the border of Vietnam. I just have to figure out how to get there. That will be my birthday present to myself. 🙂
