It seems so long since we were there, yet it’s barely two months. I suspect it’s much longer than that since I took part in Dawn’s Lingering Look at windows, so I thought that I’d bring the two together this week.

All beautiful but none as mesmerising as the stained glass windows (Notre Dame). I have been known to snatch anything up that is made of stained glass. Thanks for sharing these photos Jo 🙂

We spent some time passing through the ‘galeries’, which were quite near to our apartment, Lynne. The ‘shopping with style’ one is Galerie Vivienne and the others I think are Grand Cert. There were lots of them scattered around and I really liked them. 🙂

There are so many lovely windows that it is hard to pick a favourite. I like the dragonfly (I’m assuming that’s what it is) ones – was there some connection with the shop, or was it just a nice motif to use?

Thanks, Elaine. The shops in that ‘passage’ were all arty/quirky so I’m not so sure of the connection. I just thought it made an interesting shot. 🙂

600! My goodness. Easily done though, I am sure. Just a thought. Who keeps all these beautiful windows clean? Our city is gaining many new buildings with glass facades and windows. Does anyone think about the cost of cleaning them? The amount of water required, and the cleaning agents? Perhaps they dwell only in the beauty of the creation. 🙂
