A Lingering Look at windows : week 41

Any guesses where?

Any guesses where?

It seems so long since we were there, yet it’s barely two months.  I suspect it’s much longer than that since I took part in Dawn’s Lingering Look at windows, so I thought that I’d bring the two together this week.

Come and press your nose up against a few windows with me.  Click on a photo to start the gallery and look for clues.

But just in case you haven't guessed

But just in case you haven’t guessed

It’s Paris, of course!  One of my many wonderful memories this year.

Dawn keeps finding interesting windows, week after week.  Maybe you have some you’d like to share?  Click on this link to visit the challenge.

      1. No I’m not joking as another point and shoot girl. Perhaps the trick is not to have the sun shining directly at the window. Nice is fabulous! We fly home in the morning. 😦

  1. All beautiful but none as mesmerising as the stained glass windows (Notre Dame). I have been known to snatch anything up that is made of stained glass. Thanks for sharing these photos Jo 🙂

    1. We spent some time passing through the ‘galeries’, which were quite near to our apartment, Lynne. The ‘shopping with style’ one is Galerie Vivienne and the others I think are Grand Cert. There were lots of them scattered around and I really liked them. 🙂

      1. 600! My goodness. Easily done though, I am sure. Just a thought. Who keeps all these beautiful windows clean? Our city is gaining many new buildings with glass facades and windows. Does anyone think about the cost of cleaning them? The amount of water required, and the cleaning agents? Perhaps they dwell only in the beauty of the creation. 🙂
