Didn’t we have a lovely time…
The White Rabbit Teahouse, in Nottingham, was just one of the many places I visited with my daughter last weekend. We did, indeed, have a lovely time… Click on the gallery to see it in detail.
Hope you have a nice weekend planned. Don’t forget to share it on Six word Saturday. Cate at Show My Face will show you how it’s done.

Lovely, Jo! Such a sweet photo of your daughter; would love to have been a fly on the wall for your conversation. Better that than a bull in the china shop 🙂
Having tea and cake is such a slow-down-the-world way to relax.

Thanks, Sammy 🙂 She met me from the coach and we went straight to the tea shop. Very decadent! 🙂

Your daughter is lovely. Tearooms and gardens are the only places where I could stand too many flowers. I’ve been meaning to get a tea set and they have lovely ones there. I am sure I’d love that place too.

Thanks, Bebs 🙂 Yes, gardens rather than bedroom walls- I know what you mean. I do like a few flowers on the hearth though. 🙂

What a beautiful tearoom, Jo. I love the china! Wow! That’s what I call a manicure!

She does them herself, Jill. They were to match an outfit she’d worn to an event the previous week 🙂

Looks very civilized Jo. Off on the boat for a couple of weeks now so may be quiet for a while.

Oh dear, Robin! I won’t comment on the weather. It’ll be dry in the pubs 🙂

What a lovely place (and lovely geisha nails!). Next time I go to a tea room, I must remember to take lots of photos rather than just tuck into the afternoon tea! 🙂

It was quite amusing, Elaine. There was a party of Asian ladies at the next table who were busy taking photos of everything and I was doing the same. We exchanged smiles 🙂

I love tearooms but it’s always so difficult to narrow the cake choices down! Its good to have a friend to go halfsies with 🙂

Fortunately the only words I could remember when the waitress reeled off the list of choices were chocolate and raspberries. How could I go wrong? 🙂

I’ve been meaning to go to this tiny but very pretty tea shop for ages and we finally made it! 🙂 Thank you! I have jobs to keep me busy this weekend, after zumba, so I don’t mind the weather too much. 🙂

Any writing projects on the go, Richard? Nothing new on your site for a few weeks. Just other preoccupations? (i.e. footie season) 🙂

September and October are always rubbish months to be a travel blogger, Jo. I’m off to Munich in November so should find something to write about then!

You did indeed have a lovely time! I wish you an infinity of them, in all shapes and guises. The nails and the door handles are really something. Have a Saturday hug. We’re about to head off to sit on the river bank with a glass of wine as the day fades and the Night of Daylight Saving begins. Like the lousy government to deprive us of an hour on the long weekend. The first one 40+ years ago was the weekend of our wedding, but I suppose they weren’t to know that!

Oh no!!!! 😦 I hate daylight saving (especially if I’m in the Algarve at the time). Ours is later in the month.
Thanks for the lovely wishes. Have a fabulous evening.
