Six word Saturday

Didn’t we have a lovely time…

The White Rabbit Teahouse, in Nottingham, was just one of the many places I visited with my daughter last weekend.  We did, indeed, have a lovely time…  Click on the gallery to see it in detail.

Hope you have a nice weekend planned.  Don’t forget to share it on Six word Saturday.  Cate at Show My Face will show you how it’s done.

  1. It looks like you had a lovely time with Lisa at the White Rabbit Tea House, Jo. What a fun place to go for a mother-daughter outing. Her “Geisha” nails are fabulous. She sure knows how to make a fashion statement. 🙂

    1. Hi Kongo! Can’t remember when I saw you in my Reader last (but I don’t go there often these days 😦 ) Yes, they are a bit special. 🙂 Hope all’s well with you?

      1. Beautiful!!! I remember you mentioned it earlier but I couldn’t remember the band. I like them too 🙂
Yes, the photo is ‘loud and clear’! M-R did this a whilie ago and I wondered how. She offered to tell me but I didn’t have time to listen. Today’s no better- I shouldn’t be here!

  2. It looks like a lovely spot. I love visiting tea and coffee shops especially the really good ones. I think I prefer ‘eating out’ in one of them to having a full blown meal in a proper restaurant. 😉

  3. Lovely, Jo! Such a sweet photo of your daughter; would love to have been a fly on the wall for your conversation. Better that than a bull in the china shop 🙂

Having tea and cake is such a slow-down-the-world way to relax.

  4. Your daughter is lovely. Tearooms and gardens are the only places where I could stand too many flowers. I’ve been meaning to get a tea set and they have lovely ones there. I am sure I’d love that place too.

    1. It was quite amusing, Elaine. There was a party of Asian ladies at the next table who were busy taking photos of everything and I was doing the same. We exchanged smiles 🙂

    1. I’ve been meaning to go to this tiny but very pretty tea shop for ages and we finally made it! 🙂 Thank you! I have jobs to keep me busy this weekend, after zumba, so I don’t mind the weather too much. 🙂

  5. You did indeed have a lovely time! I wish you an infinity of them, in all shapes and guises. The nails and the door handles are really something. Have a Saturday hug. We’re about to head off to sit on the river bank with a glass of wine as the day fades and the Night of Daylight Saving begins. Like the lousy government to deprive us of an hour on the long weekend. The first one 40+ years ago was the weekend of our wedding, but I suppose they weren’t to know that!

    1. Oh no!!!! 😦 I hate daylight saving (especially if I’m in the Algarve at the time). Ours is later in the month.
Thanks for the lovely wishes. Have a fabulous evening.
