Fire and water don’t mix, do they? Which is a real shame because I wanted to submit this for Thursday’s Special and you never saw a hotter image of Paula!
Clever effect, isn’t it? Visit Lunapic to see how it’s done. Many thanks to Amanda for helping to increase my wisdom.
This is the type of photo I especially adore!
Funny because I was back at the same place on Monday, taking lots more watery shots, 🙂 The water level had dropped quite a bit over the summer so we must have had a nice one.
Love your Lunapic images, Jo! So refreshing! I can almost feel the water beckoning, and washing over me. 🙂
Don’t tempt me to play with any more, Cathy! I did say it was a rainy day today didn’t I?
Are you headed out for a walk? 🙂
Yes, I’m heading out pretty soon for my morning walk. I’m a little worried about getting rained on though. 🙂
My suggestion is to redo with the top shoreline cropped out. The perspective is a bit confusing. Otherwise really nice.
Yes, I see what you mean 🙂 Thanks!
Clever!!! I think I like the bridge even better 🙂
Me too, Madhu 🙂 This one I did just for Paula and it will be part of a Monday walk at some point. I started to play with a couple of others afterwards and really like the bridge.
Just love it! I have few water pics, does it work with other types of photos?
It does, Kathryn 🙂 I originally saw this on Amanda’s Unique so Chic and it was a black and white shot of birds. Really lovely! Go take a look- don’t know if you know Amanda but she does some amazing artie stuff. The link’s in this post.
This is great, Jo. I have LunaPic on my iPad as an app but it doesn’t animate (least not that I can figure) so I’ll need to play around with your version. Thanks, sweetie.
Isn’t it strange? Whenever I think to myself- haven’t seen Gem in a while, hope all ok- up you pop! Genie in a bottle 🙂 I only have to wish to make it so!
❤️
WOW! I’m certainly going try this, Jo. Fantastic 😀
Isn’t it brilliant? I have no idea how or why, but I love it, Dianne 🙂
I tried it out on the cover of my latest book because the picture is of the ocean. It looks great! 😀
That’s fabulous! I’m excited 🙂
Thanks for sharing this Jo, definitely one to play with!
I’m seriously short on play time, Jude, but I couldn’t resist this 🙂
Thanks for revealing the behind-the-scenes magic! I’ll be playing with it, for sure. I often long for motion in my stills.
‘Clever as eggs’, Meg! I think I’ll go and have another play this morning 🙂
Not only are you one of the most talented photographers I know, you’re brilliant, Jo! I could never do that!
I’m looking forward to your visit tomorrow! 🙂
You certainly could, Jill. All you do is choose a pic and upload it. Lunapic does the magic for you 🙂
I finally booked the accommodation in Paris. I’ve had the flights sorted for weeks. It’s an ‘artists garret’ of an apartment and I’m excited!
I must try this out. The result is incredible Jo
It’s good, isn’t it? And almost no effort from me 🙂 🙂
Brilliant!
I love it, Tanya! Who are these ‘oh so, clever’ people? We’d still be in the dark ages if it was left to me 🙂
I’d have been the one to invent a triangular wheel 😉
That’s so clever Jo – I love it!
Astounding, Suze, isn’t it? I have no idea how! 🙂
Lovely effect ! I tried it.
Great, isn’t it? I shall be playing some more when I have time 🙂
Very cool effect Jo. I’m intrigued and will have to check out Lunapic.
Clever as eggs, Sue! 🙂 There are other effects too, but I haven’t had time to try them.
Lovely pic Jo!
Thanks, Nicole 🙂 I loved this effect.
