A most unusual point of view
Many’s the time I’ve strolled down Saltburn pier, but it’s never looked like this before. Roll the gallery for a few smiles.
I felt so sorry for Saltburn when I saw the news this morning. There was extensive flooding after yesterday’s torrential rain. This morning they’ll be cleaning up.
Yesterday I posted this young lady in the Weekly Photo Challenge which required a a shot from an unusual point of view. She is very winsome but not in very good focus. In retrospect I would have been better using either my first or last gallery photo, don’t you think? Do you have a favourite?
That’s my six words (and a bit) for this Saturday. If you’d like to join Cate at Show My Face for Six Word Saturday you’d be very welcome. The explanation is in the header and the links.

Love the knits. Very creative!

I have never seen anything like it before, how wonderful, and in such a great seaside location too! Was it part of an exhibition or festival or something? Left some remarks on individual photos – beach huts all the way 🙂

Loving the response I’ve had to these, Jude. It’s much the same as my own- aren’t they fabulous 🙂 The first time I saw something similar was during last year’s Royal Jubilee celebrations (I’ve included one on my Lingering Windows-35). I thought it was just a “one off” but there are obviously lots of happy knitters in Saltburn!
Many thanks for your comments and enthusiasm 🙂

I know! “I’d like to teach the world to knit”… I’m singing it to a popular tune 🙂
The townsfolk were all on the local news last night, cleaning up after the floods, but the knits are ok.

I believe the mermaid takes the #1 spot for me. It’s incredible to me to see
what is done with knitting. As someone who has knitted I know how much work it can be. These were very innovative crafters.
Great post … enjoyed it very much.
