A woodland walk in Spring sunshine

Not feeling too much like talking this week, so I’m letting the photos speak for me.  Click on a photo to start the gallery rolling, if you’d like.

Cate at Show My Face will be glad to have your company.  My thanks to her for being our kind hostess.  I actually didn’t go much past my Six Words this week!

    1. “If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today, you’d better believe your eyes….”
I didn’t find any teddy bears having a picnic! 🙂

  1. It looks a lovely place to walk, the carvings are fascinating, which must make the walk even more interesting.
The owls remind me of one we have close to home.
The council were tidying the area of damaged trees, when one worker, armed with a chainsaw, carved an owl from one of the remaining stumps, in about 5 mins flat.

    1. I’ve been there before, Vicky but didn’t remember so many sculptures. Maybe because of the time of year. With the trees so bare still, they stand out more. 🙂

    1. I’ve been part of a walking group for 8 years or more. They’re a nice group, and sometimes my husband walks too, if work’s not so busy. The woodland trail is open to anybody but it’s nice to have company and not think about where you’re going. The walk leader is a great guy.
I belong to a separate group for Nordic walking too. Just like to be outdoors when it’s nice weather. 🙂

  2. I like everything that caught your eye during your woodland walk. The carvings are interesting, the cottage charming and the horses so handsome. I wish I could look so good while working out!
