Flying south, but not for long
Just a week, in Tavira. What will I find this trip?

And a sunset or two over the tracks, as we walk down into town
When I return it’s just days to my daughter’s wedding and I can feel the excitement rising now. I hope to find a minute or two to post a few pics, but otherwise you know there’ll be a wedding bonanza coming up.
Many thanks to Cate at Show My Face for being our genial lady hostess. Click on the link or the header to see how you can join in. The button below will take you to my previous Six word Saturdays.

Beautiful images that inspires you to hope and dream. When I look at your photos, i am reminded of my dream place. Perhaps one day, I will find it.

A week before the wedding and you have time to get away. I always needed the week after the wedding. Enjoy your trip!

That was the plan, Judy, but the flights were so expensive with Valentine’s and half term, we opted for a much cheaper week (and we were lucky- the weather was gorgeous)

It looks nice as warm where you are…much better than the snow and cold here. Thanks for sharing such great pics.

We left a foot of snow behind when we flew out of Newcastle airport, Amanda. Thank goodness it was gone when we got back last night.

I love the cliffs, too, Meredith. We’re at the flat, salt marsh end of the Algarve in Tavira, but it’s just a tootle down the road when you want a change. Thank you!

Beautiful photos Jo, have a lovely time! My six words for today would be snow snow snow snow snow sunshine. About a foot of snow here but this morning the sun’s beating down out of a blue sky making it all glisten and twinkle (and, hopefully, melt).

Same here, Lorna, but it’s dripping furiously at the moment. Thanks!

Have a wonderful time. We’ll have to wait until August for my hibiscus to flower. But at least we can look forward to the primroses – they’re late this year.

Do have a lovely stay. I am sure it will be gorgeous, I love southern europe at this time of the year, and if it is any help we are blue skies and sunshine here in Gib so hopefully the Algarve will be the same.
