Bright and breezy

“Always look on the bright side of life…” Not always so easy to do, but I find it easier when our beaches are open. Happy and sandboy come to mind. Wishing you an Easter filled with hope and optimism. Oh, yes- and chocolate!

Becky’s playing with squares again. She’d love you to join her. The theme is BrightSquare.

  1. That first photograph with the shimmering sea and the corresponding shimmer like effects all around (I can’t decide if they are tiny white houses or some other light reflecting objects) is a stunner. Happy Easter and may you enjoy it in tranquility.

    1. Just the ripples catching the light, Mari! I played around for ages. An impatient spouse was starting to tap his toes πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Happy Easter, darlin!

  2. How great that your beaches have reopened! I envy you your closeness to the sea – ours are also open and we can now drive further afield to spend time in the open air, but we’re a bit far from the sea to do that as a day trip so will have to wait until we’re allowed to stay away from home, hopefully in May πŸ™‚ Enjoy your Easter and enjoy the beaches!

  3. Gorgeous shots, Jo. I would love to be strolling on that beautiful beach right now. We have below freezing temps in the forecast for Friday and Saturday morning. Our poor blooming flowers are going to freeze!

    1. Maybe today πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ It was wild here yesterday, and the day before we were covered in red dust. What am I saying- the car still is! πŸ™‚ Happy Easter!

  4. Yeah! πŸ˜€ A beautiful start to April, Jo! I would strip off my sandals and rush straight in for a paddle! Enjoy your beaches again and the beautiful glitter of sunlight on the water – it brightens everything around it! Happy April, my friend! xx ❀️🌺

    1. Isn’t it glorious? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Somewhat strange weather. We were coated in sand from the Sahara the other day, and yesterday the seas were wild! A good washday though! Happy Easter, hon!

      1. Just hope the sandstorm and wash day were not at the same time! πŸ˜ƒ Our mini-heatwave is now over, back to frosty nights and chilly days. ☹️
