Undecided whether to throw all my eggs in one basket (and make scrambled eggs- nice and yellow!) or to saunter through the month, trailing yellow behind me for Jude’s Life in Colour Challenge. Chuck in a sunset or two… always makes me mellow.

You can leave your hat on…

Cultivated frangipane

Somebody asked for custard, honestly!
The shell is mine, too
Chilling with a view…
Speeding home, in the days when you could go somewhere, we were racing the sunset. It won! A blaze of glory…

Wishing my very beautiful daughter a happy 50th birthday! Sending hugs, darlin…
A lovely selection of cheerful yellows. I particularly like the two hat photos. I can imagine the musician playing by the door of the other.

You’ve nailed it, as usual, Jo, with that lovely selection of pictures. Not sure which is my favourite, I’m torn between the Speeding home one with the lovely intense yellow of the blossom and the very arty shot of the wine glass on plate with shell! The latter looks very professionally artistic. It’s very cold here, goes down below freezing at night but lots of sunshine during the day but I stay indoors – just to be safe and because I’m a wuzz. I have a friend who’s got MS and she has a session 3 times a week with a private trainer via her television as she’s can’t get out to her normal swimming and exercise class. She works incredibly hard to keep herself well (more than I would ever do as this is a lifetime undertaking) but it pays off and she’s been in remission now for two years. It’s her dedication that stope me from moaning!!

Yellow does raise your spirits – especially when we are having our 11th wettest winter ever with rain in the forecast here for the next four days!
A nice touch of spring to come!

We’ve had our share of rain here too, Noelle, but nothing like the minus temperatures in the UK πβπ

So much mellowness in your world Jo. Love them all, but, wow that chilling with a view is spectacular. Are you enjoying the Aussie tennis? Our boy Kyrgios put on quite a show yesterday, we all love his larrikin spirit over here. And of course we all love Ash Barty. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi……

Oh, Ash is fabulous! Getting the crowd singing π€£. And Kyrgios was impressive. Watching Rafa right now. πππ Spring here is lovely but it’s been a bit damp and dreary to match the mood of the times lately. Sun just peeping out π€ππ

And thank you for the lovely selection of yellows in your world. I can’t even remember when I last had custard! π And happy birthday to Lisa. Our anniversary for collecting the keys yesterday, five years! Can’t quite believe it. And OH had his first jab. Reasons to be cheerful?

That apple crumble and custard gladdened my husband’s heart, I’ll have you know. Or his stomach, anyway π π Most people seem to have gone full tilt at yellow. I might still have a few up my sleeve. Can’t pander to Jude too much π Alternate between happyish (illicit visit from friends yesterday and watching Rafa later today) and downright miserable. It’s called life, at the moment. How about you?

Yes you can! Pander to me! π You think you have it tough, think about us poor sods going through this in freezing temperatures. At least you can sit outside in the sun or walk without being bundled up. Stop complaining woman, you are sooo lucky!!

Yes, you tell her, Jude! I havenβt been outdoors for a week, and that was very briefly to look at snowdrops on the drive…itβs now too icy and dangerous
