No doubt about it- shade needed!
A stroll around Loulé, enjoying the shade. Into the 30s this weekend, so we’ll definitely need it. Meanwhile Debbie has been having fun on Six Word Saturday. And if you look closely I think I’ve made a few Weekend Reflections too? Have a good one, and see you on Monday for a walk.

Heehee… you just can’t resist can you? Back to the usual sunshine and shower summer here although it is supposedly heating up mid-week and in the 30s in London for the weekend! Like you, I’m happier in the lower 20s but I shall not be sad to see blue skies again. Must confess those awnings a a little too bright for me, but I would definitely appreciate the shade!

Last year they were plainer colours, but I did like the rainbow effect in the windows. I exist simply to cheer you all up 🙂 🙂 Happy weekend!

Me too! Had a quick look around and all the obvious places seem fine so far, it all depends on the direction and strength of the wind.

Loving all that colour which makes up for shading the sun. Even when it’s in the thirties I feel it’s wrong somehow to block it off completely. But it not my country, right? Respect!

It was still more than warm enough in the shade, Mari and as soon as you stepped out you felt it 😎💕

The photos are lovely, and love all the colour! Getting hot here also, over 31 yesterday. It always seems a sin to leave the Okanagan where I live in the summer, it is such a popular destination for tourists who enjoy the lakes. They leave in September and the locals like me have our city back, but they are welcome and needed for a few months. Today is light rain and will warm up to sun with 24 degrees.

Tourists! A blessing and a curse, David. I try not to act like one and to be respectful, wherever I am. Purest blue today, and I’m in shade 😎💕

That’s good, Jo. We plan to go tonight to our first indoor restaurant, but I’ve been told we may be the only ones there. I bet the proprietors were very welcoming and happy to have you back!

If you’re the only ones you won’t need to worry so much about the virus 🙂 🙂 Our first outing was like that.

It was pretty empty, only four tables with people and they were spaced far apart. This was actually our fourth outing. We’ve been out twice to outdoor dining, once to a vineyard, and this was to an indoor restaurant. 🙂

Could do with some of that sunshine here Jo, the weather has been miserable since Monday – I need the blue sky back for a walk 🙂 I love those canopies, they are certainly very colourful 🙂 Have a great weekend and I’ll look forward to walking with you on Monday 🙂

What fantastic colours, Jo. I’d love to be strolling there right now.
Not the sort of thing we see on our streets, but I popped into one of my favourite courtyards in London last week and they had there summer covering in action. But the place was closed and empty, apart from a few fellow disappointed visitors who had hoped for at least a takeaway coffee!

Loule was very quiet too but we’re trying to share our custom out. We have a local cafe in the pedestrian area with the loveliest lady who was so pleased to see us. The side street faces a rather boring wall and she had bought 4 parakeet pictures to display for her customers. I will be sharing it on Facebook. Every little helps 🤗💕
