Many thanks for your kind thoughts
Whenever I’m feeling distressed I have an outlet. It’s right here, with you lovely people. It’s a huge reason why we blog, isn’t it? Our emotional safety net, which means we can express our doubts and fears, however foolish, however irrational, and know that we will not be harshly judged. You are immensely kind. My thanks to you all for giving me this space. Meanwhile, Debbie is busy circling, with Six Words. Happy weekend!
You take care Jo.. 😉

So wonderful to have this community to express ourselves, whether it be light & joyful or a need to let go of some of the things that are making our heart feel heavy. Always happy to have an ear my friend💕

Lovely colour oleander. I’m debating whether or not to buy some of these. In containers of course, no room left in the garden borders! Hope you are feeling a bit more chipper today. I’m having a blog fest as it is far too windy to venture outdoors. Poor plants – no mercy for them! I fear there will be a lot of wind damaged clematis. Stay safe over there!

Just been talking to the ladies on Zoom and Sue was freezing. All in long sleeves. What happened to the lovely Bank Holiday I keep reading about? Melting here! My trumpet vines are going crazy. Which is steak and chips day? 😍💕

It’s so windy Jo! I am in long sleeves too, but a short skirt if that counts! Monday should be nice and the rest of the week warming up too. I prefer not to melt 🙂 Birthday is next Sunday. I might take him up the hill for a surprise picnic 🥪🥙🧁🍾

Nice idea! Do you wear gloves for gardening? It’s just that oleander are notorious for the sap, aren’t they? 🤔💕

Funny you should say that as I have a rash on one hand at the moment. I have been wearing gloves for the recent work of emptying spring bulb pots, but must admit I don’t all the time.

It is a strange time to live in, and you have every right to express your thoughts like you did in your last post. Good to hear things are looking up over there, and hopefully this all blows over soon. Hope you have a good weekend Jo. Lots of love across the miles 🙂

The flowers are beautiful, dear Jo, just like your soul.
Would you like a piece of the apple-pear-nuts-grandmarnier-cake I just made? The smell will make you feel better, and the taste will make you feel good.
Dutchie hugs, take care!

Pleased you are feeling better Jo. As you swelter we are setting records of the opposite kind. Today was the coldest day since the 1920’s, 16deg, down to 6deg tonight. Brrrrrrr not our usual sunny weather for over a week now. Got the thermal vest on and pulled the doona down from the cupboard.

Some changes have already taken place. My picture galleries no longer work on a scroll through.
I fear that it is going to be bad.

You will still have the option to use the Classic editor in WP Admin, which I do, never went over to the block editor. If you use the block editor already I don’t think much will have changed, just making it easier.

Thanks for this. I have never used the Block Editor. WordPress updates rarely provide improvements to the sort of postings that I do.

This whole period has been one hell of a rollercoaster for sure!! I think sharing the ups and downs just makes it all slightly easier to deal with. I hope you have a lovely weekend – I’m very jealous of your hot weather!! 🙂

Hahaha, I’m always hankering after hot weather, which of course is generally lacking in the UK! It’s such a weird time and has been so difficult hasn’t it. Just trying to take it a day at a time.

I hope you’re feeling a little better today. You’re right: things are a little overwhelming just now, but if we can support one another … we just might get through! Have a good (sunny?) weekend x

Scorching! Will be over 30C today so plans will be waterside for a while and shade 🙂 🙂 I’m fine, Margaret. We went out for a meal last night, just the two of us- an alien concept last week! The feelings are still there but the support was immense. James should have been here this week and I’m sure that’s a factor. Have a good weekend too!
