Six word Saturday

Being here makes my heart happy

I’m sure you can see why.  Access to the beaches in Portugal has been restored, with a few restrictions.  Happiness beckons!  Enjoy your Saturday, and don’t forget to share Six Words with Debbie.

  1. There are many contradictions to the advice in the UK Jo. You can go to the beach but please stay at home, You can go to the countryside but it is closed and you will be turned away. Another day in the garden is much simpler!

    1. And the whole issue of school, Andrew! In Middlesbrough the parents have a choice to return their children to school in June. Not so great for those who will have to pay for childcare on reduced wages. The haves and have nots again. Some things don’t change 🙄💕

      1. But that is a contradiction. As I read it childcare providers can work but only look after children from one family. In terms of capacity that doesn’t sound very realistic to me. Grandparents discouraged to take on child care so that is no solution.

  2. Amazing beach views in Portugal, Jo. Lovely to hear that restrictions are easing over there – so many more walks for you 😀 Here in Australia restrictions are easing too. Hopefully all of us remain good so this all blows over soon. Happy weekend, Jo 🙂

    1. I really did, Margaret! This is the most beautiful, tiny place, not too far from us, and I was a bit unsure about going there. Just us and the fisher folk, collecting shellfish in the shallow waters. (not me! I hate the stuff 🙂 )

    1. There is a huge variety of beaches, as in Australia, Amanda, but thankfully not too much high rise near most of them. This is the most traditional village I know, and it’s tiny and very beautiful. 🙂 🙂
