Room at the top

I could well have called this Top Specimen?  I have one that I was gifted but it’s now looking a shadow of its former self.  I have high hopes for mine’s recovery, one of these days, but if it ever looks like this I’ll be thrilled.  Meanwhile, in Praca Dr. António Padinha in Tavira, there is a wonderful old building.  Yes, it’s one of many that need renovation, but if you have a few pennies to spare?  Top project!  The location is perfect.

    1. I had despaired of my poinsettia, Janet. It was a sorrowful creature standing in a corner, but I’m so happy to see it throwing out a few fresh green shoots. The building…. well, it’s been that way for a long time. One day, maybe 🙂 🙂

  1. Wow. Perfect composition and the big splash of red is gorgeous❣️ There’s so much see in this photo and way beyond, it must once have been a magnificent place to live. Hope you are well and that your 🌺 plant may recover soon. Coping well with your new laptop 👩‍💻? Hugs 🤗🌱🎈

    1. Don’t have a new laptop, Dina. Resisting that challenge so far, but I do confuse people by replying on my phone sometimes 🤣. This is one of the nicest squares in Tavira and I think the house must have had a very grand past. Thanks for your kind words and lovely company darlin 💕

  2. I’m not really attracted to run down buildings but this one still looks beautiful – I hope any eventual renovation is done sympathetically. The flower looks good too 🙂

    1. Yes, onto one of the nicest suares in Tavira. Not actually suare but triangular 🙂 🙂 You know which letter is missing from my keyboard. Too lazy to cut and paste this morning 🙂 🙂

      1. It’s just putting out a few green shoots so there’s hope, Suzanne 🙂 🙂 Usually I do cut and paste but it can be tiresome. But so will be learning to drive a new laptop!
