Closer to home with this one, but ready to set sail, whenever permission is granted. We’re running out of time for #SquareTops. Happy Sunday!

Finally stopped and hints of green in the grass are starting to appear. No leaves on the trees but we have hope. 😊

This is beautiful Jo. Won’t be it great when we can all head out and about again. Our state government is easing restrictions next weekend and we will be able to go out for recreation in our household group, up to a distance of 50km for daytime activities. We might go for a picnic next week.

It would be lovely to be out on a sailboat, Jo. Hopefully the time off will make it even better when sailing can happen again.

Is that your boat?
That picture gave me an idea: what about a square rigged boat here?

I wish, Pit! No, we don’t have one. 😦 And yes, topsail would fit the bill nicely, but it’s been used by an Australian lady who’s done some sailing on Tall Ships. There are only a few days left to this challenge and I will be using local photos. Thanks for the thought 🙂 🙂

Must be so many frustrated sailors out there! Did you read about the non Portuguese sailors who are trapped on their boats around the Portuguese coastline? They were being treated like non residents on cruise ships so not allowed off their boats. Tough lockdown!

Can understand that . . just hope they all found a good spot to stop

The campervans are on a purpose built site on the way to Cabanas, but I’ve seen one or two stranded. Don’t know about boats. Maritime police vigilant but friendly. 🙂 🙂
