My Top View of Tavira

A little tenuous, this one, but it’s a view I love.  Church ‘on top’ of a hill.  The Ponte Romana, ‘atop’ the River Giláo.

It’s a good follow up to yesterday, and I’m hoping Becky will like it.  It’s all getting a little crazy over at her #SquareTops.

  1. The bridge pier on the right looks pretty much like a ship to me, even with anchors at the bow.

  2. I once spent two nights in Tavira, on a four-and-a-half month bicycle tour of Spain and Portugal. But I don’t remember much about it, as it was fifty-seven years ago, in March 1963.

    1. It really is, Jonno! Especially on a day like that 🙂 🙂 Unfortunately we’ve hit rainy season, but there are no tourists to upset, and I’m going food shopping 😦
