The message is ‘stay at home!’
A glorious, but empty, sight. Though, to be fair, it’s pouring again today. And there was me, getting ready to sing on the balcony! No, we haven’t reached lockdown yet, but our President is trying his best to contain the beast with State of Emergency measures. We can only respect that.
Meanwhile, Debbie is making the earth move. In Six Words. Join me for another walk on Monday and some virtual fresh air.
We’re all heading for lockdown I think. While we’re all confined to quarters it’s a pleasure to be able to indulge in some armchair travel.

There are no shortage of distractions, Carol. All kinds of online classes have started up. Everything from yoga to joining a choir! I lose a fair bit of time just staying in touch with everyone and trying to keep morale up 🙂 🙂

Got the message loud and clear, Jo 🙂 I’d love to be on that beach at the moment but things here at the farm are nice and quiet and secluded enough for me. I hope you and your family are well. Sending loads of love from Australia! xxxx

Why do I keep on blogging, Diane? Because, every once in a while, someone lovely who I haven’t ‘seen’ for ages, pops up in my comments and brings a huge smile to my face. 🙂 🙂 I have occasionally looked over at yours for clues. Another book written? The main thing is, you’re safe and well. Take good care of yourself!

Lovely photo – what a beautiful beach! Hopefully it won’t be too long until we can get out and about again.

Thanks, Sheryl. It’s hard to know at the minute, isn’t it? Kind of in limbo. 🙂 🙂 Stay safe, hon!

A beautiful, rare site, I’m sure, Jo! In California, we can get out of our houses and enjoy leisure on the bike trails, walking our dogs, etc. Lots of people out today, but keeping safe distances apart!

We’ll probably go to one of our beaches tomorrow, Terri, but our favourites are on the Ilha and accessed by ferry. Mostly we’ve walked in the countryside since this happened. 🙂 🙂

An empty beach is definitely better than a crowded one these days Jo. Actually I much prefer it this way any time! Glorious image

Me too, Tina 🙂 🙂 The problem with this one is that it’s accessed by ferry, but there are others. Take care, hon!

Magnificent image. I want to walk through my computer right into this scene. And singing is good for the soul and morale :-). I’ve made it a habit when at the helm under sail.

I”d like to walk into it too, Lisa. Not sure that it’s possible right now, though we did have a nice wander through some of our country lanes yesterday. Trying to stay as isolated as possible, and keep our spirits up. Sailing seems like a good place to be. Stay safe, hon! 🙂 🙂

And there’s a boat ride to get there… or a bridge and a steam train. How good is that? 🙂
