Star light, star bright, first star…
I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might…” Cheating on many fronts to bring you the New Year fireworks from Tavira -the first lights of the year 🙂 and join in with January Light and Six Word Saturday. Have a happy weekend!

Wow, great fireworks shots! I’ve never been able to capture them well.

I was born on Guy Fawkes Day and I’ve never got past the excitement of them, no matter how frivolous a waste of money they are 🙂 🙂 Thanks, hon!

What a beautiful and colorful display! These days I’d rather see photos of fireworks than the real thing, as our doggy hates them. And even escaped once, because of the fireworks on Canada Day when we were in Ottawa! Happy and Sparkling New Year, Jo!

Dogs have no reason to enjoy them, Liesbet, with their sensitive hearing. I promise to only show photos- no loud noises on the blog 🙂 🙂

You’re absolutely right with “star light” in this context. And I love fireworks, so this was lots of fun.

Yes, I’d rather the money be spent on more worthy things, but I’m not going to win that argument. The world loves fireworks
