It wouldn’t be Summer without Saltburn!
I’m sure they need no introduction. (6) The yarn bombers efforts for 2018. (6) I’ve never seen it so busy! (6 more)
Awesome, aren’t they? Every year they pull it off! Recognise a few characters? Sorry I’ll not have much time to chat this weekend. We have a house viewing then we’re off up the coast to celebrate our anniversary. Don’t forget your Six Words, will you, and have a great weekend! See you Monday!

I’ve never been to Saltburn, keep meaning to when I camp at Scarborough/Filey but not got there yet 😦 There’s some great knitted things there, I ove the mouse in bed and the bookworm 🙂

It’s a much nicer place than Scarborough but I’m probably biased, Eunice. Make an effort next time? X

I’m smiling too, Ann Christine but it’s because I’ve had a lovely day, in beautiful surroundings and with quite a nice man xx

Love it! Books the theme this year then! Love the Mr Men and Little Misses and Dracula, Robinson Crusoe, Little Red Riding Hood and others I recognise. Such great achievements, it must give the knitters and the public so much pleasure. I remember the north coast beaches, usually a stiff cold breeze, freezing water and the possibility of rain. Nice to see it looking quite Mediterranean! Have fun in Warkworth and happy anniversary to the pair of you, wishing you many more!

Thanks darlin! Warm and dry so far. We’re ‘warked ‘out already! There were people in the sea but we didn’t try it. Everyone says wet tomorrow xx

So cute! How long do the creations last before they get all soggy and/or dirty? Or do they only get put up temporarily? (Showing my lack of yarn-bombing knowledge!)

Such whimsical creations, these yarn bombs! Hope you have a fun anniversary. I thought you were already gone… Have fun and good luck with the house viewing. 🙂

These yarnies are about the ONLY things that could make me get anywhere near a summer beach. Not an ocean-lover, me.

I’ve never seen so many people on the beach Suzanne. It’s usually a quiet little place but the sunny weather drove everyone to the seaside xx

I can imagine. Such heat in the UK must feel very strange.

Aah! Happy seaside goings on, and natty knitting too. The simple pleasures of good British folk. I love all the knitted people, especially the chap in his nightgown – with an octopus(?). I’m building up to a spot of knitting too, though hadn’t thought of bombing Wenlock…until now! Happy weekend both, and hope the viewing goes well. Always a bit nerve-wracking.

Definitely Wenlock should be yarn bombed Tish! I leave it in your hands. Thanks darlin xx

Yarn bombing’s quite the thing, isn’t it? There’s one in nearby Thirsk celebrating the NHS. Needless to say, I really enjoy Saltburn’s theme. Have a productive and enjoyable weekend!
