A hint of blue should do!
Most of the UK will have their share of blueness this weekend. I’m just contributing a little more. It was actually a cool, damp day in the Algarve when I wandered into the museum and church of Igreja da Misericordia de Tavira. I had the place entirely to myself and spent a very pleasant hour browsing. I’d say that the pretty blue ceramic tiles, azulejos, are Prolific in Portugal, wouldn’t you?
Enjoy whatever blue skies and sunshine come your way, but don’t forget to share Six Words with Debbie. You may be bamboozled!

Gorgeous! I can feel the peace.

Glorious blue and glorious weather can’t hold a candle to glorious connection with my mob. Sorry! Such hugs and grins. I passed your hugs on – the twins were a bit bemused that you have the same name as dziadek!

I get bemused sometimes myself 🙂 🙂 So happy you’re together again!

Oh, Jo, it was such a wonderful meeting – everything as I hoped it would be. Enveloped in grins and hugs, and special time individually with both Maja and Jaś.

Hurray for blue, Jo! For some reason the word “succulent” popped in my head seeing all the beautiful blue tiles. This word is usually used in regards to food (fruit?), I believe. Silly me. 🙂

Beautiful blue is good enough, Liesbet. 🙂 🙂 It’s been lovely here the last few days but the mini heatwave is about over.

Ooo, la, la…or should that be blue, la, la? It was beautifully blue and warm here yesterday, although it’s cloudy today. Spring temperatures have finally arrived, though, and that’s good enough for me. 🙂 Have a marvelous weekend, Jo.

The Lady sings the blues…
Coastal fog gone today so I guess the beaches will be heaving. We are relaxing at home and enjoying the peace and quiet and sunshine ( well we would if it weren’t for the neighbours having a BBQ and having to listen to their endless
conversationgossip ) I knew I should have insisted on a detached house!LikeLike
Just watched Rafa. Back in the garden but there’s a cooler feel. Think our heatwave has run its course xxx

Hottest day here today, but we haven’t had the temperatures elsewhere in the UK. Ours were around 17 degrees and much less in the fog!

No. Can’t accuse you. Shall check for the red lily beetle and possibly dig up the other one and put it in a pot so I can keep it indoors overnight. Oh, the stress of gardening!

I love the top picture especially. Are the bannister railings actually blue or do they just look that way because of all the blue around them?

It was a rainy day and the town was quiet, Miriam. I didn’t know the church had a museum so it made a lovely refuge for a little while. 🙂 🙂

Absolutely! Have you seen the Chapel of the Pousada of Arraiolos? And there is an extraordinary church in Santarem, covered in tiles.
