An old, fisherman’s table

Rusted now and all forlorn

‘Gainst the shimmering

Stealing my title from Gilly this morning, but I know she won’t mind.  I’m just sharing a last few soothing Algarve images before I return to the real world.  If you’ve never met Gilly, you’re in for a treat.  Go and say hello!

  1. I think you should have put up a warning “Sunglasses required”. The first image is a dazzler! I have noticed how often your Algarve blue skies are completely devoid of clouds! We’ve had some gorgeous cornflower-blue summer skies this week, but always with clouds around. Never mind, it feels like spring already… 🙂

    1. I was just saying to Susan that we’ve had a bit of everything today but my connection was interrupted and now t’Internet’s playing silly b’s 🙂 🙂 You know how that feels! We went to Fountain’s Abbey under droopy skies 🙂 Snowdrops out though!

  2. I love the openness of this, how the adjective becomes a noun and thereby floats away into the future. Beautifully written, Jo and thank you for sharing – the stillness of your haiku rests well with me. I’m now off to see your friend, Gilly!
