A relaxed moment, chatting and looking out on the stillness of the lagoon.
Not at all like the intensity of Paula’s Thursday’s Special. You will love it!

I can almost smell that salty air. 🙂
Yes! 🙂 You can’t get much closer to the sea without being in it.
Beautiful boat shots, paericularly the center one.

I love boats and their reflections, Peta 🙂
These are beautiful photos Jo, So calm and relaxing. I hope you’re going well xxxx
Hello, sweetheart! How are things with you? A few offspring problems here but otherwise all fine, thanks 🙂
Those offspring problems can be heartbreaking Jo xxxx
How peaceful Jo – such beautiful photos! The colours are so lovely. We have had an unusual summer palette of greys here – it poured down for 2 days with no respite breaking records – coldest ever recorded maximum temp in February. It struggled to 17 on Thursday then a dizzy 19 – very strange (average max is 30)! Our garden looks so green though! Hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂
17! Woo Hoo! 🙂 🙂 It was 2C at its peak yesterday with wintry showers. Want to swap? No, seriously, Rosemay, it is all a little bizarre but I bet your garden’s happy. It will be another swift walking, well wrapped up day today 🙂
Brr sounds very cold Jo – no I’ll take 17 over 2 degrees though it is the height of summer here!! Our daughter in London says it was snowing earlier this week! It’s just been a very odd summer here coming after a cold winter and spring. I’m happy we really haven’t had heatwave conditions like many parts of Australia – the eastern states are sweltering. Apparently, according to Monsieur, the magnetic poles have changed round and this could be causing unusual weather patterns (he has read an article about it). Hope you are keeping well rugged up though! I do love winter fires and looking forward to lighting our wood burner again probably sooner rather than later at this rate! 🙂

Volare, oo-oh! Cantare, oh-oh-oh oh 🙂 🙂
Ciao, bella!
So beautiful, Jo. Love the calmness shown in your shots. It’s almost as though the place is holding its breath, waiting for something to happen.
And then I leaped onto the beach – ta-dahh! 🙂 🙂 Perhaps not, Ad. It’s a lovely place.
😅
It’s so still and flat one can hardly believe that is water! Beautiful photos Jo.
Hiya Sue! 🙂 🙂 I have to keep looking and reminding myself. Wintry showers are the order of the day here. And no, it wasn’t me who ordered them 🙂
Haha you were just getting jealous of our Canadian snowbanks. 🙂
Wasn’t I just! I daren’t look but we don’t appear to have a covering yet 🙂
Pure bliss, Jo! I bet a stillness descends upon everyone around in such calm bewitching beauty.
It is a lovely situation, Annika, nestled at the foot of a tiny village. 🙂
Beautiful lighting and the still lagoon is a perfect mirror.
Thank you 🙂 It’s a lovely area and I’ve spent many happy hours there.
Wow that’s so still. Amazing
Yes, flat calm 🙂
Wow, I love it!
Thanks, Ann! All good with you? Lots of snow? 🙂
Ah, lovely, Jo. This is making me feel a tad warmer! 😀
I have to admit, it’s a bit parky in the north east right now, Tom. Not sure why I came home 🙂
It isn’t much different here in the north west…
Cool and calming Jo, just what I needed 😊
Tough week, huh, Sam? 😦
A lot going on Jo but hoping that there will be clarity soon 🙂
