It’s going to be bleak here this week, Gilly, but I’m hopeful that after that Spring won’t be too far away. 🙂 We have snowdrops out and hellebores. Apparently Jude was at a garden yesterday. Wooh Hoo! 🙂 Hugs, hon!

Hi Jo, oh yes, it rains endlessly in northern Calif. these days, and yes, bleak. However, I just returned from 10 days in the Caribbean so while my mosquito and chigger bites slowly disappear, I’m pretty happy. 😀 Always fun to enjoy a few moments with you, Jo.

Very peaceful, Jo. While it has been foggy around here, the ocean has been calm and keeps drawing us in for a walk on the boardwalks or the beach (when dogs are allowed).

Flat calm, Carol. 🙂 This was in early January and pleasantly warm. It’s a nice spot for a quiet drink.

It’s a scruffy bit of fisherman’s beach, Andrew, but the lagoon is quite amazing. You can walk across to the sandbar at low tide (but you might have to swim back! Or catch the ferry in Summer 🙂 )

I’m not sure where the name of the beach comes from, Paula, because I believe fabrica means factory in Portuguese too. There used to be a Fabrica at Silves, turned into a museum. Got my answers the wrong way round. Stressful here today. Sorry! 🙂

I had to crop because there was a lot of sun glare in the original and I’m not clever enough to reduce it. It’s a bit of a cheat really but my Thursday’s Specials usually are. I know you don’t mind 🙂 🙂
