Pounding in to shore,

Wind whipping, shaping the waves.

Power, meet beauty!

Paula must have known that she was tempting me with this week’s theme.  The weather played its part beautifully.  I know that there are finer seascapes, but this one is mine- my north east of England coast.

Now, please go and be spellbound at Thursday’s Special.

  1. Beautiful scenes and sights by the beach, Jo. Your north-east England coast certainly turned it on for you at the right time – maybe it really, really likes you 😉 Hope your week’s been good so far and have a good weekend ahead 🙂

      1. Lol! It is very dreary here too. But there is something about the coast, isn’t there, that makes it attractive in all weathers – even if that means ruggedly attractive!!

  2. Yours pictures are perfect, delightful and so teasing! I love water in any of its forms, and beaches make me feel romantic at once! You are so lucky to leave in such a wonderful place! Can I envy you a bit, Jo?

    1. The wet has reached us Elaine, but we’ve had such a good spell lately that I can’t complain. I’m hoping to get it all out of the way because we’re off to the Dales tomorrow for our wedding anniversary. 🙂 Thank you!

  3. Great seascapes, Jo! I adore water (as long as it’s not descending from the sky) A city just has to have a river at least. But the sea is way better!

  4. Yeah, sneaky me! I knew, it! I knew you would have something gorgeous to show off 😀 I love your imagery of power meeting beauty. I think I would be somewhere on the edge, taking advantage of both, just like you did. Exquisite shots, Jo. I am in trouble now. Which one to chose!!??
