Fresh as a buttercup, or daisy?
The Weekly Photo Challenge asks for Fresh images this week. Or even a little chilly?
I hope it’s warming up nicely wherever you are. Have a happy week and don’t forget to pop over to Cate at Show My Face to share your six words.
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Fresh.”
Oh Jo, these are fresh, beautiful and gorgeous…and we can pretend it’s warm with all the daffodils and spring flowers out in abundance. Had lovely sun at the weekend and temps not too bad, but gone very cold again hasn’t it? Let’s hope it warms up as the week goes on… 🙂
It’s going to be a mixed bag of a week, Sherri. Just had 4 seasons in one day, up on the river banks at Durham (including sleet and sunshine! 🙂 ) A sunny Easter would be good but I’m saying nothing!
Typical British spring weather then! Easter could be anything…like you Jo, I’m saying nothing too 😀
lovely fresh images, Jo! happy springs 🙂
Thanks, LolaWi 🙂 So nice to have a bit of sunshine!
Thanks for sending me flowers, Jo! A bit warmer here, but not too many flowers, yet. LOTS of rain, though, so they can’t be too far behind! 🙂
Our borders are all daffodils and primula, Elisa. It’s definitely here 🙂
…ho sentito anche il profumo dei giacinti da queste splendide foto!!!
Grazie cara! Mille grazie 🙂
really love the soft frames aorund these fresh pics
Just sometimes I like to have a little play 🙂
🙂 – but of course – keeps it fun – have a good day
Such gorgeous captures Jo! It is warming up in Canada but we are currently in the southern US so really enjoying the warmth.
Ziplining in the Mojave Desert I believe I read in Mrs. M’s comments? 🙂 I meant to come check you out but life was a bit busy yesterday. I’m now up ridiculously early finishing up my Monday walk. Bet it was fun! 🙂
It was tons of fun Jo!
Beautiful flowers Jo – I’m starting to see them too and it’s great!
Wonderful, Meg! 🙂
Beautiful images, well done. 😉
Thank you 🙂 🙂
Awesome florals Jo!
Cheers, Mary 🙂 🙂
Been playing again I see? Actually like the bubbles on the primroses, that looks fun. Lots of fresh air in that last one 🙂
I didn’t have a topic for 6WS. What’s a girl to do? I really like the bubbles too 🙂
Your Spring is in full blast. We are still cold here and snow has been predicted for tonight. Oh this Winter is getting tiring. I want to see flowers like in your photos!
Sorry, Bebs 😦 Ours is a bit stop/start but I have to admit, Spring has mostly sprung 🙂
Gorgeously fresh images Jo! Love the special effects and the refreshing cold splash at the end. Warming up a bit too much here…inching closer to the ‘Hell’ phase 😦
Sorry, Madhu 😦 I just apologised to Bebs because they’ve still got snow and freezing temperatures. Can’t win 🙂 🙂
Your photos are amazingly beautiful.
Bless you, Romi! That’s so kind. My face just lit up with a smile. 🙂
It is not: it is, thank all the gods, beginning to show signs of cooling down. 🙂
Wishing you gentle cosseting breezes, Mrs. M. 🙂
Tenks. Could use ’em, Jo. Still humid down here.
So pretty.
Thanks a lot! 🙂 🙂
Just fresh!
And nippy! 🙂
lovely photos!! and I just love those effects, wow!!!
Thanks, Tobyo 🙂 Once in a while I have to ‘gee my photos up a bit’ 🙂
I need to check out that software! I found the name of it within this post of yours and saved it. always fun to play with photos 😉
I love your faded edges effects, Jo. Very refreshing indeed. Hope you’re having a nice weekend. 🙂
Some mornings I have very faded edges, Cathy 🙂 It was cold and grey yesterday but I spent most of it in Durham. (my friend Lynne lives above a rather nice pub). Sun’s about this morning but I have a zillion jobs to do today (and a walk to bash out for tomorrow 🙂 ) Take care, darlin’.
Hope you were able to visit the pub! 🙂
Lynne brought a bottle upstairs! Her husband Martin runs the pub and the rugby crowd were in 🙂
Such beautiful imagery Jo! How did you capture those lovely yellow flowers with the bubbles?
It’s just a bubbles effect from Ulead Photo Express, Lisa. I’m a huge cheat 🙂
You are not a cheat, you are an artist. You are simply using all the tools in your tool box to create beautiful art. I am going to have to check out Ulead Photo Express – the bubbles truly looked like part of the picture.
Gorgeous fresh images, Jo. I especially love the crocuses. 🙂
So ‘Spring’, aren’t they? We have lots this year but I don’t know how they’ll last because the weather is unpredictable, to say the least 😦
