A very frustrating couple of days!
I can’t begin to explain the frustrations, nor is it appropriate, but I almost didn’t make Six word Saturday this week. Now that I’m here, I’m simply going to share a few more lovely pieces of glasswork from the National Glass Centre at Sunderland, and make a hasty exit!
January is now well into its stride, so it’s time to put all that behind me. Join me for next Monday’s walk, won’t you? We can stop off at the National Glass Centre for coffee afterwards.
Hope you all have a good weekend. Hang on to your hats- it’s wild out there! I’m off to check out Cate at Show My Face. She’d love you to play too.

The glass is delicate and beautiful! I hope your evening is more pleasant Jo!

Yeah, no worries, Richard 🙂 It’s related to a blogging event in London and too many complications. I think the simple life suits me best 🙂

Ad, if it was a real car (or even a whole one!) they wouldn’t let me within a million miles of it 🙂 But thanks! Have a good one too 🙂

Many thanks, Pit! How are your temperatures? Spring just around the corner? 🙂

Temps are hovering around 32 Fahrenheit here. Check this [http://tinyurl.com/qyu46fk] out: it doesn’t exactly look like spring hovering around the corner. 😉 I fact, January & February usually are the “most wintry” months around here.
Have a great weekend,

Well, I’ve stomped about a bit, cursed, shed tears, and now it’s time to move on. 🙂 And the glassware is a good tonic.

Thanks, Poppy 🙂 It was taken by a friend in one of our local cafe bars. Bit cheeky really because we’d just eaten elsewhere and stuck our noses in to check this place out. Must go back one day. The American Diner thing isn’t really me but the decor was cool 🙂

If the brain just had a switch that we could turn off those things and not have them bother us anymore it would be most helpful. Sending hugs across the miles.

Glad you made it Jo! You’re right about it being wild out there! I’ve just driven to Manchester to drop my daughter back at Uni. It was actually a beautiful bright day when we arrived, if a tad windy. But as I drive across to my hotel I was bombarded with hail and sleet! I was going to go for a walk but I’ve retired to the bar instead!
I hope your weekend improves from here on

I’m ok now, Debs, thanks, but waiting to see whether the son arrives from Leeds. He was coming home just for tonight but I’m hoping he’s changed his mind. Maybe he’s found his sensible head! The bar sounds good to me 🙂
