I’m usually homeward bound by dusk, but Paula’s theme for this week requires that I loiter. This once, I didn’t mind. Have a look at Thursday’ Special. I think you’ll find that it is!

Glad you lingered 🙂
Me too! It was a lovely glass of wine 🙂 🙂
I love dusk, you have captured some beautiful images of it. 😉
It was one of those ‘oh so fresh’ ones 🙂 Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful. vw
Thank you 🙂 Nature’s bounty!
This is truly beautiful. I can look at these photos all day. Amazing.
It’s a nice bit of shoreline when the weather plays fair 🙂 Thank you!
So so lovely. 😍
I was wrecked when I got home but it was a beautiful end to the day 🙂
Yes, that’s definitely the one, Jo. Beautiful. 🙂
Glad you like it! 🙂
What a fabulous sky Jo – well captured
It was a lovely early evening, Robin. I just about had stamina left to take the shots 🙂 Thank you!
Such gorgeous photos! I’d happily frame any of these and hang them in my home. They’re lovely.
Wow! Thank you so much 🙂 What a lovely compliment!
Beautiful – dusk is filled with a quiet mystery. You captured it’s beauty. Have a wonderful weekend Jo.
Thanks, Mary 🙂 I hope you have a lovely weekend too! I’ll make some time to come and see the latest artwork 🙂
It’s nice to loiter sometimes to get such lovely photos such as these. Love dusk, one of my favourite times of the year. I’ll be away this weekend with my boys Jo, so I will catch up with as normal on Monday. Have a lovely weekend…hugs and smiles… 🙂
A little break after the holidays is always nice, Sherri. Have a great time! Hugs back 🙂
A gorgeous way to end that walk and gather thoughts Jo . I love both ends of the day ..
Thoughts, Poppy? I was glugging wine in a state of exhaustion 🙂 🙂 (but it turned out well)
Dusk means to darken, so this qualifies as dusk as well as sunset. But whichever way you look at them, the photos are beautiful. 🙂
It looks so tranquil, Ann! The wind was just starting to get up and it was wild overnight so I expect the sea was lashing in yesterday evening. Thank you for your kind words 🙂
Sunset is my favorite time of day. I like the word “dusk” and don’t use it very often. Your photos are wonderfully enticing. Aren’t you glad you lingered just a little bit longer? 🙂
I was actually, Debbie, because I’d walked miles and was tired. I hopped into Mary Rowntree’s to wait a little longer and met some lovely friends, who gave me a lift home. All’s well that ends well 🙂 Hope things are ok with you?
Gorgeous Jo! On another note did you get started on Instagram?
Thanks, Sue 🙂 Did it display properly in the Reader? I don’t normally post twice in a day but after what you said, I thought it might be a good idea.
Instagram? Oh, dear! I haven’t really got started… I think I posted one pic of a rosebud and that’s it! I’ve taken quite a few photos with the camera and rather like them but I don’t like publishing stuff ‘on the hoof’. It’s just not me! I like to think about what I’m doing and not make a clutz of myself. I’ve uploaded a couple to the laptop and used them but I can’t get the hang of processing and just ‘putting them out there’. I will have a go when I’m travelling next but I need to check photo sizes because my first shots were tall and thin, and the later ones are tiny! I think I’m a hopeless case 😦 But thanks for asking 🙂 🙂
Jo what is your user name in Instagram? I have lost you in my followers. The editing tools in Instagram are really quite good so that’s where I do any processing. Once you get using it it’s actually fun. If i can be helpful let me know. Wouldn’t it be great if we could meet for tea and I could just show you? 🙂
Yes this post showed up fine in Reader.
I’ll just dust off my magic carpet, Sue, and I’ll be right there! 🙂 Yes- it would be so much simpler! I don’t even remember my user name but it will be either Johanna Bradley or Restlessjo… I think 😦
It’s beautiful!
Thank you 🙂 I was lucky- the colours were really nice.
