Six word Saturday

Overwhelmed with wishes!  Thank you all!

I seem to've got myself in a hole at the moment!

I seem to’ve got myself in a bit of a hole!

You’ll be able to find out where on next Monday’s walk, but meanwhile I have some serious catching up to do!  I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has left comments on the blog in the past week.  I’ll be visiting you as soon as I possibly can.

I had a wonderful birthday, and the smile on my face wasn’t even seriously dented when my mobile phone made a bid for freedom from the bottom of my bag and swam off beneath the ferry!  It did, of course, provide much amusement for the other passengers.  I hope you’ll excuse me if I simply post a quick gallery of highlights.

Such delightful memories!  Here’s wishing you all a wonderful weekend.  I’m off to visit Cate at Show My Face and check out Six Word Saturday. See you soon!

    1. It was a definite antique, Suze. I’d been debating a new one for 2 years. No excuse now 🙂 I’m fine- just a little gobsmacked. Why do these things happen to me? 🙂

    1. No gifts, Mrs. M- the ‘day out’ is that, and my choice of whatever I want to do. 🙂 The lizards adorn the wall of our favourite restaurant. I suppose they might let you buy one but I’m not sure. Pressie is going to have to be a new phone. The old one was a seriously bad swimmer. 🙂 🙂

  1. I thought of the joke “Is a thing lost if you know where it is Dad?” ” No, why?” ” Your camera is at the bottom of the ocean, I dropped over the side of the boat.”
It is not funny when it is for real,
Good attitude you never lost your smile and never lit it spoil a happy birthday.

      1. Take a scuba diver with you next birthday.
Pleased you can laugh about it.
As I said too Pauline “It is bad enough having your purse stolen, without letting it spoil your day.”

  2. I love the contrast between our respective birthday celebrations! However, we share the smile on the face, and a mobile phone – yours went, my new one arrived. I’m so glad it was good. The photos prove it!

    1. Thanks, Meg 🙂 We had been discussing a new phone as mine was purely an antique. If Mick hadn’t witnessed ‘the calamity’ I think I might have been accused of losing it deliberately. 🙂
