I came, I saw, I photo’d!
If you’ve seen any of my posts in the week, you’ll know that I was ‘bowled over’ by Glasgow. I’ve had a terrific response to all the posts so I’d just like to say thank you to all who visited and enjoyed Glasgow with me. The wall art was amazing, but that was just a small part of it.
Seonaid of Breath of Green Air shared this link with me yesterday. It explains a little about the wall art and gives me yet another reason to go back. I missed the panda, and my Wonder Wall is illuminated at night!
I still have one more delight to share with you, next week. Here I am, up among the rooftops.
I have to finish with the riverside. Undisputably damp though I was, still I was very happy to get my first sighting of the River Clyde. Grey skies and all!
I hope you’ve enjoyed reflecting with me. This time last week my adventure was just beginning.
How about you- what have you done in the week? You can share it here on Six word Saturday. Cate at Show My Face is a great hostess. The links and header will show you how it works.

You certainly packed in a lot in the short time you were there. Love the street murals, my kind of thing, You are making me consider a day trip to Glasgow now when we are up that way in June – was going to try to head for Edinburgh, but you’ve got me thinking now…
Have a good rest of the weekend Jo
Jude xx

That is such a hard choice as an either/or Jude! I know that I still have a lot to see in Glasgow but the lure is mostly Rennie Mackintosh. You’ll have to add on a couple of days 🙂

Have already added on 6 days – started off as a week in the Lakes!

Round Britain trip, huh? Why not- you might find somewhere you want to settle 🙂

Actually I have considered doing exactly that – to try and follow the coast all around Britain. Really ought to do it by bike though, and it is years since I rode one. Still…

Oh, I’d love to do that! This blogging business is hell, Jude. I’ve got Viveka on here urging me to meet her in Belfast in November. Help!
I know- it’s a nice problem to have 🙂

Belfast sounds very interesting though I’m not sure about November. You know we ought to arrange a get together somewhere – now where?

What fun Jo! I have been absent from blogging for a few days, and probably more, so just happened on this post…..

Not ill, I hope, Sue? Doing something fun would be better 🙂

Not ill, but running myself a bit into empty, never advisable with MS….but, things that have to be done, have to be done (family stuff). I’m trying to rest now, so the blog may not see much activity. We shall see!

Ok, so rest up, read a bit, but mostly, just look after yourself. Do it when you’re good and ready 🙂 Hugs!

It’s a great city, Wayne 🙂 It was a shame I only had 4 and a half hours, but I hope to go back sometime.

I got a couple of links in the week telling me about the wall art, David. Seems there are quite a few 🙂 That chimney was the only one I managed to get up close and personal with.

How did you manage to get out to Helensborough in your short visit? Or was that a model of Hill House? Or a meringue (am I wrong as Jock says it)?
LikeLike
Just a model, Viv 🙂 I’m more of a scone with cream person than meringues, but if you’re offering? 🙂

You should go next time – it’s well worth the visit.
No meringues – I was right then!

I really wanted to see House for an Art lover too but it closed at 1.30 that day and I couldn’t make it. Would love to do the trip on the ‘Waverley’, Viv. I think that goes to Helensburgh?
