Uplifting YELLOW – the colour of sunshine.

Autumn colour in Richmond, North Yorkshire
Even a sunshine bird like me can’t help but thrill to the colours of Autumn. Crispy days, with the water running dark and the sun shining bright…

And glinting through the leaves.
Here is my gallery of yellow for this week. Click on a photo to roll with me.
Got to love this smack of yellow!
The Carmo Church, Tavira- just a subtle tinge of yellow
Crazy yellow at the seaside!
Beautiful stained glass yellow in the Ratusz in Krakow
Old gold gently washes medieval architecture in Wroclaw
Sunflower yellow rules this display!
My stepdad, Joe, hated the colour yellow, but Mam loved her roses
Here’s a bold statement for a door!
Livingstone daisies light up the beaches on the Algarve
More craziness- Carnival time in Loule
How delicately pretty is this?
And this is simply exquisite!
My kaleidoscopes of colour have brightened my Saturdays over the last few weeks. I can’t resist the opportunity to add this one to the Weekly Photo Challenge, the hue of you.

Golden as the sun.
I love bright Summertime colours 🙂
my fav colour but don’t tell anyone please
Wouldn’t dream of it, but I approve your choice 🙂
I love yellow too, and orange. So your cheerful gallery is particularly appealing. They are all gorgeous Jo, the autumn trees and the vibrant door especially.
I was disappointed in our Autumn colour this year, and those are last year’s trees. Then suddenly there’s a riot of colour this week! Some of it might get into my red post this Saturday, but that’d be telling. 🙂
Look forward to it 🙂
These yellow colours are uplifting for sure Jo and truly brightened up my day. Stunning shots and share hon. 😀 *big hugs*
Thanks, sweetheart. They’re great with our grey skies 🙂
Yellow is the happiest color there is. Thanks for sharing.:) We are on a road trip to Memphis, Tenn to see daughter and then onto Arkansas,Miss and ,Louisiana. Was hoping for some fall colors but not cold enough and too far south.
Wish I could be a passenger 🙂 (just for a little while- I’d make the tea and wash the car, make myself useful…)
Have a wonderful time. You won’t need the colours while you have the warmth of family.
Oh, I so wish I could reach through this post and take home that yellow door…gorgeous!!! happy monday!
Thanks, Laurie- you too! I need that splash of yellow today 🙂 It’s wet! wet! wet! But to be fair it did stay dry long enough for a rather grey walk this morning.
Great title and such cheerful pictures too – well done Jo!
I’m specialising in cheerfulness this week, Meg 🙂 (well, trying to!) Thanks, hon.
