It’s been a very Whitby sort of week when it comes to the blog so I may as well finish as I started.  I’m often blue on grey days, but this week I didn’t have much excuse.

How's this for a cliff top view?

Hope you enjoyed the trip?  I still have some more shots for a rainy day. Click on any photo to see the gallery.

My grateful thanks to Cate at Show My Face.  Her life seems much harder than mine.  Click on the link or the header to see what’s been happening in her week.

  1. It is so clever and user friendly how you have set up this page on wordpress to connect to a master page with all the links!! Your walks and posts are superb and a total joy. The way you have organised it adds to this. Clever stuff!

    1. Welcome home, Paula 🙂 Can’t wait to see the photos!
We’ve definitely hit Autumn here. Shame, but it cannot last forever. I have Barcelona to look forward to in a few weeks. 🙂

      1. Barcelona is wonderful… I was there hmmm about 20 years ago … I loved it. It feels nice to be back home, and to be able to spend more time on blog 🙂

  2. Such a lovely place to go walking, Jo. It must be quite bracing at times along that clifftop. Love your blue photos and the narrative to go with them. “Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.” Hope your Sunday is a good one. 🙂

    1. It was a superb day, Sam. There’s a 60’s rock and roll weekend on at Whitby this weekend, so it might be a bit hectic right now. 🙂 The cliffs will still be peaceful, though.

  3. Danke für deinen Besuch sind aber auch tolle Bilder vom Meer könnte schön wieder ans Meer fahren ich vermisse es.Wünsche dir einen schönen Sonntag liebe Grüße und Freundschaft.Gislinde

  4. Thanks, Linda- it more than amazes me at times! I’ve always tried very hard to post positive, happy things and to respond to people’s comments. But mostly I blog for myself- to share the things that I love. I’m happy to have you along 🙂

  5. You have such a huge following…and I can certainly see why! You post such amazing pictures from your adventures in life! And you live in such a great place! People are charmed by your posts! (Myself included!)

    Happy Saturday!

  6. Stunning photos Jo! Love all the blue! I hope you enjoy the weather while it lasts, fall has arrived here and I don’t think we will be dry until next June! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.

  7. Loved the trip, Jo !!! 🙂 Thank you very much.
We haven’t made it up to Yorkshire yet. It seems sooo pretty and your pictures make it seem very inviting. (I do have a blogging friend you may have run across up there, Anthony North? The Norths live in Malton, York. He is a writer.)

  8. Ahhh! Beautiful Whitby 🙂
Looking at the caravans on the cliff top, was that Whitby Caravan Park?
The Cleveland way sign looks very much like the one at the top of Saltwick Bay too.
    Happy memories 🙂
