Approaching the coastal footpath north of Seaham
Better get my skates on with this challenge- I’m running out of week! I am determinedly clinging to blue skies and beautiful walks, even if the reality might be changing. You may remember this walk from my Weekly Photo Challenge: Sea? I love the coastal footpaths around our coast.
Isn’t this stone wall a beautiful feature?
A convenient place to leave your flask?
I liked that the pillars had poems relating to the stones
A lovely idea.
Step through onto the footpath and we’re off!
No lingering on that bench!
Sometimes there are tributes to a loved one along the way.
Teasles tickle the skies!
A cheery biker scoots by as we cross over the bridge
And a horse keeps a wary eye on us.
Hawthorn Village? Almost there!
The end’s in sight.

All of them a great ‘which way’ but I really like the stone wall. It IS a beautiful feature.

So much money is wasted by the town councils on fancy railings and embellishments, but when I see something like this it really gives me a lift, Gem. They’ve made such a good job of restoring and enhancing this coastline. The pictures are the proof. 🙂

It was freezing (and grey) today and I went past the Transporter Bridge on the bus, but wasn’t remotely tempted to get off for my photo shoot. Another time 🙂

Oh Jo, how I wish I could manufacture time! I hardly have any time for myself any more. My job demands almost all of my free time. Even though my job sucked in Oman, at least I was able to avoid bringing work home with me. Now I’m ALWAYS working at home. And I”m so missing my blogging time! And my connections with other bloggers!! xxx
