Let me brighten up your day?
Keeping a lookout Paddling ashore
Glinting in the sun A multitude A tiny claw? Blue house Seaside daisies Ready for action
Hopefully those chairs will be unstacked and good to go on Monday. It’s been a long haul, but we’re ready! I’m celebrating 400 Six Word Saturdays today, with the help of a few BrightSquares. Wishing you all a happy Easter weekend!

What a bright way to celebrate. Congrats π
Having Chinese takeaway with a friend this evening. Real excitement π€π
Blue skies, bright colors, and beaches. Looks like things are on the upswing there. Happy Easter, Jo.
Looking good, Graham. Let’s hope π π
Yay on 400 SWS!! It definitely brightened my day π
Good to know. Thanks, hon! π π
You’re welcome π. Happy Easter! π£π»
Wow, that’s a lot of Six Words! Good for you! Cady
Kept me out of mischief for a few years π€£π°π₯π£π·
I doubt that! Ha Ha! Cady
Love all your photos, Jo! Happy Easter!
Thanks darlin π€π°π₯π£π
That’s a lot of Saturdays! Well done you! And someone has been to the beach I see. Are your cafΓ©s open again on Monday then? We have another week and then only outside, but with a bit of luck we can get to one of our favourites before the crowds arrive (self-catering open then too). I am happy to enjoy the sun from my garden though it is a bit chilly to sit outside today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
8 years worth, give or take a few. 2nd trip to the beach though it was wild the other day and the shells had been swept right back. Glorious today! The cafes open Monday or Tuesday but only outdoors and limited to 4 at a table. Reviewed on 19th for next round of opening. Just bought an Easter bunny with some miniature daffs for Marie. She’ll love it π€π
Where’s mine then? Actually the grandies in Oz ate chocolate Easter bunnies today – bet that caused a sugar rush!
You don’t want a wooden bunny, do you? And I expect you have your own daffs π€£π°π₯π£π·πΌπ
always a delight to see your world, Jo! love, love your blue skies and the multitude of shells! congratulations!
Bluest blue again today, hon, and everywhere looks great π€ππ
Thanks for brightening my day with these awesome clicks! Love the multitude of shells – a rare find these days…
There are lots on the Ilha, Rita. And a few have wandered home with me π€π
π
Congratulations on your blog posts, that’s a lot. thanks for todays brightening up, the photos along with my coffee are doing the trick. Happy Easter
Thanks Alice! I’m sitting in the shade admiring my patio. Happy Easter π€π°π₯π£π
I like all the above photographs but the stacked chairs fill me with hope and that’s a big thing these days. Doesn’t feel like Easter here, a few more visitors but with no cafes, restaurants or pubs open, there is a dismal air around. Thank heavens it’s not raining (as threatened) and the sun is shining although it’s a trifle chilly. They are talking about snow on Monday but I’m presuming that’s way up north – that’s another country! Have a very happy easter and make sure you get some chocolate cake!
Ours open Monday, which isn’t a Bank Holiday here, and there was a nice hum of industry when we strolled down town this morning. Chocolate cake? Now there’s a thought π€π
400 Six-Word Saturdays? A toast to you!!! … Cheers … Clink … and a reason for a celebratory cake! … and stacked chairs should be wasted on a beautiful day.
They’ve been stacked for weeks, Frank, but the big moment has almost arrived. There was music playing as they cleaned ready for opening as we strolled this morning. Such a nice vibe π€π
Beautiful pics jo and congratulations on your achievement.
Thanks Aman π€π
Beautiful photo! Congrats on hitting 400…wow!
It took me a long time to get there π€£π Thanks, Jill!
These photos have definitely brightened up my Saturday morning. π
It was beautiful here. Been for a stroll and it’s just clouding over. Feet up for a while π€π
Well done on the 400 6WS posts π Lovely pics as usual, I love the shells – and I’m sure at some point in the last few years I’ve seen some wallpaper like that π π
Shell wallpaper? Make an interesting contrast wall π€ππ Thanks, Eunice!
400? How do you keep count? What an achievement! But these images make me long for the branch of the family in sunnier climes, so bittersweet π¦
The number comes up in the url each week. I think I might have reached retirement status π π
You’re always threatening that Jo. Don’t believe you.
Well, the Saturdays keep rolling around π π
wow 400 6WS, what a celebration – enjoy the sunshine and blue skies this weekend
Thanks, darlin! Is it decent there? π π
Grey and a cold northerly wind at the moment in the south, but the grey is due to be replaced by sunshine and the cold wind is apparently going to get colder on Monday!!
Sorry I asked π π
happy to share some of it π
π π
Well youβve certainly brightened up my day.
Thanks, Liz! Happy Easter to you π π
Love the shells Jo.
Thanks, Andrew! π π The beach was almost washed clean of them the other day in strong winds.
Beautiful Jo! Congratulations on 400 SWS posts. That’s quite an achievement.
Feels like I’ve been here forever, Carol π π Thanks, hon!
And doing as good a job as the day you started π
Bless you for that π π
