Shall we leave Gaudi for a few days? Still in Barcelona of course, can you guess where this is? I can tell you it’s an upscale building, and the acoustics are sublime. Becky is looking both up, and down, today.

The balconies have such Personality – with the two small rugs hanging out on one and plants on the other – nice moody and culture rich choice to look up with βοΈ

The whole aspect is pleasing to me, Yvette, but inside the theatre was fabulous. π π

Love the pic – Didn’t Gaudi design a theater?

No? That’s a real miss! I know you loved the Hospitaler’s- can’t remember its name?- and you had some beautiful shots of it. We were there earlier and it was all boarded up so mine aren’t great. π¦

Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau – a fabulous site. I preferred it to the Park GΓΌell. There is so much to see in Barcelona, a weekend is not long enough.

I know you did! I remember being astounded when I saw it. Beyond a big corrugated metal fence. I had to crop most of my shots to cut that out. π But no- you might know that fantasy land is the one for me π We had 5 days and included Girona. With a week we could have done Monserrat. Life is all ifs, isn’t it?

If you don’t live in the centre, as Emily and Miquel didn’t, it’s not crowded at all, and just as interesting.

I’m sure, but it doesn’t really appeal. I like Portugal’s gentle ways. Sorry, but you can’t convince me π π

I’m not really trying to Jo. I know you’re settled in Portugal and you’d be made to cast aside all the efforts you’ve made to learn the language and to integrate.
